So modding sucks at time install a million mods play the game for a while and booom CTD on loading saves...

So your saves are now loading but mods arn't working ....

These are a few fixes I've used to make Skyrim work....

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85443/ - basically, I've never had a CTD from loading a save since I added this.

Then only skyrim.ini tweaks....

[Papyrus]

fUpdateBudgetMS=2.0

fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=2.0

fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2000.0

iMinMemoryPageSize=256

iMaxMemoryPageSize=1024

iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=115200

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

bLoadDebugInformation=0

These setting seem to stop papyrus lagging out (aka script lag) so mod work better and faster.

This post also make Skyrim run smoother.

https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/546499-performance-tweaks-for-smooth-gameplay/page-9#entry5796896

If you get CTDs randomly in game this can help....

Outside of this

http://wiki.step-project.com/ has like a million guides if you have time the more you follow the more skyrim will rock !!!

Just tried your first linked skse fix, as I recognized the way I was getting around loading crashes in what the mod described. And I must say I'm impressed : it was indeed the multithreading that was faulty, their fix does work ! smiley_sorcer_HFR.gif

Many thanks for sharing this, Lozeak ! :classic_happy::thumbsup:
