Accessories after the fact

Gonna get cold out. You might want to at least cover your delicates.

I'm thinking of calling these 'modesty plating', although they're about as immodest as armor plating can get. They took entirely too long to make, even putting aside the whole 'took months to get a workable version of the bent scrap mesh' thing. Been poking at them off and on for a couple of weeks, now, and I've still got to tweak the vulva cover a bit. Keep getting this one spot of breakthrough on the right side, and even more when crouching. Probably gonna have to pull it away from the body more, which is annoying. I like to get stuff as closely fitted as I can, but it's hard to predict exactly how well that'll work when subjected to Skyrim's animations.

I also try to make things Bodymorph-friendly, although testing for every possible combination is... logistically unsound. But I do at least try to run them in-game on my UNPB-based preset. Something that was particularly difficult to do recently, with the new install crashing every time it tried to apply a bodymorph. Finally got that fixed, though. Turns out that I missed one frickin' setting in CrashFixes that solved the whole problem. Changed one digit, and everything's fine again. (Thanks again to @Blaze69 for pointing that out to me.)

On the breast plating, it mainly took a while to get the mesh reshaped so it cupped the breast better, and then tweaked further to minimize the amount of adjustments needed for the various breast sliders. Finding the balance between giving the sliders enough room to morph without sucking bits of the mesh into the body and not having it visibly floating off the skin can be tricky. And damn near impossible for the SSH slider, that one always needs some manual adjustment. My biggest annoyance, however, is usually the fact that the Nipple Size slider shrinks the nipple mesh in Outfit Studio, but is pretty much always set to expand it on the actual in-game bodymorphing mods that I've tried. That makes adjusting for it just a bit difficult. The easiest solution seems to be to leave some extra space around the nipples on the outfit, which is what I did here to fix the bit of breakthrough I was getting in-game, but that doesn't always look good. I'm not super happy with how it turned out on the hakama tops, for one.

I'm also still working on getting the bikini from the new Edhildil set converted. Still can't figure out why the conversion I did for the top is crashing the game, but the bottoms work fine, and as you can see I've got the collar working as its own part as well. Got it set to slot 45, as a lighter (much lighter) alternative to the TAWOBA collars/gorget. It's also ideal for topping of the bodysuits, since it's conformed exactly to the neck cut-line. And my in-game testing reminded me that it needed the head bone added in to keep the neck from clipping through it, so that's taken care of.

Checking all these little details takes a lot of time, but if I'm gonna do this I want to do it as well as I can, y'know?
