positioning part 2

made little platforms so you could see where the original position was and get the orientation just right.

(X) ready/sheath = pickup / drop, [LT] left attack [RT] right attack = rotate, [LB] sprint [RB] shout = push and pull, (LS) sneak = cancel/undo

ended up using a shitload of trig from high school. guess we were wrong about never needing to use it. how do you position her a certain distance away in the direction you are facing? what happens when you pick her up without the cursor being perfectly centered on her? what happens if you pick her up but she's not at the same elevation as you? what happens if you walk up the stairs? and how do you do this in papyrus as fast as you can without locking the thread? all problems i did not realise would need to be solved until they ended up being problems.

I'd guess SE since it's an "SE" blog. Pretty sure DC's moved over to Special Edition for all modding work. :smile:
