Indeterminate Delay

Got my new gaming PC put together, so I'm stuck going through the long, arduous processes of a) finding how to kill all the dumb things Windows 10 wants to do and b) getting Skyrim back in running order before I can really get back to working on the Collection again. Between all the mods I want to run and figuring out how to get them to actually run halfway right, that second bit might actually be the harder of the two. Took the better part of a week just to get everything in the last time I did a fresh install, and I never did get everything stable. I'll mainly be happy if I can manage to get the HDT body physics to stop freaking the fuck out all the time. And maybe fix the exterior cell load stutter, that was getting pretty wretched.

Also going to have to switch out the case this rig is in. The small form factor, high air flow design seemed like a good idea for the sort of semi-HTPC context I'm using it in, but holy crap is the thing loud. Turns out that having venting on all sides and non-PWM case fans trying to push air through a confined space with nil capacity for cable management leads to some particularly annoying noise levels. It was bad enough when the Alienware would spin up its little auxiliary fan, but this thing's doing about the same level of noise 24/7.  Already ordered a larger case featuring some sound-deadening panels, but I'm going to have to completely reconsider my setup to fit it into my TV rack. Fun.
