Random Shite
Should probably rename this blog to Kp's images, rants and random musings for the amount of ranting and random musing I do on it. Also having to do this through Firefox since Chrome is being a cunt and not showing where to type shite when I reply to a topic or make a blog entry.
But anyway the random musing today;
Something I've noticed with Western games is that none of their music is all that memorable, it makes me think that Western developers don't really take the music they use in their games into account when it comes to setting a scene whereas with Japanese games they (in my experience anyway) tend to select music appropriate to whatever the scene is, this also extends to other media I've found that western shows don't tend to have any memorable backing music in any scenes even the big ones whereas with what Japanese media I've consumed they tend to have the music as a sort of intensifier (not really the word I'm looking for) for the scene using it in conjunction with whatever's happening in that scene to make it more epic or more heartwarming or even more heart rending. I can also remember more songs from Japanese games than Western ones; the theme park theme in Nier Automata for example, it's fucking haunting or Vamo Alla Flamenco which plays during the stage fight in the beginning an during Chocoboa hot and cold in FFIX or even the music that plays during the fight against Jecht in FFX for example whereas there aren't any in western games that I can remember. Although this just could be me, I'm no games or music critic.
Also I downloaded the Seraphine Huntress armour (which Storm is wearing here) for Ash to use but thought Storm might look good in it as well.
