So anyone who read my last entry will know that I was bitterly disappointed by South Park the Fractured but Whole, to the point where I requested a refund through Steam and since that refund finalised today I decided to use the £40 I got to buy some games that don't have a broken main menu (seriously even scummy, hack asset flipping indie "developers" can "make" a game with a working main menu,) namely Vanquish and Bayonetta and I still have £10 left over. But that made me realise that Platinum games are probably my favourite developer since they developed my favourite third person shooter (Space Marine doesn't count) in Vanquish, my favourite Hack 'n' Slashes in Nier Automata and Metal Gear Rising (again Space Marine doesn't count as it blends third person shooters and Hack 'n' Slash games together) and while I've yet to play Bayonetta (it's installed and waiting) I'm fairly certain I'll enjoy that as well but anyway getting two great games for LESS than a shit one s a pretty good bargain.
