Skyrim magic

I thought I would share my experience going back into Skyrim after a month of breather. I wanted to try and finally do a playthrough of Rigmor of Bruma as a way to get back into the mindset of Skyrim mods. Just roleplay my way through and accept whatever the game throws at me.

So I started a female character as the oldest daughter of farmer Lemkil in Rorikstead (Family ties).

After convincing the father of childhood friend and lover Erik to let him go on adventures, I set off with him for the southern mountains. Sorry little sisters, I promise I will return once I mad my fortune and save you from that horrible father of ours. Just hang in tight.

After some mild adventures, we stop in Falkreath for the night. As we depart the next morning, a slaver tries to capture me right out of the gates of the city (Hydragorgon's slave girls). The city guards save me but not before Erik is killed and my new master shackles me. No time to mourn, I collect whatever I can from the corpses and head for the mountains.

I meet a rogue Blade in a ruined tower (3DNPCs) after hearing some gossip at the Falkreath tavern and decide to travel together a bit, but we are soon enslaved by bandits. Our new master takes us to Riverwood where thugs start a brawl and kill him (Rigmor of Bruma).

A priest offers some assistance and gold in exchange of a request - go to a mountain retreat and protect a young woman named Rigmor.

We head for the mountain, past Helgen, and we are forced to find shelter in a cave because of a sudden snow storm (Snowfall ENB, Vivid weathers and Frostfall).

Inside the cave, in the middle of a sudden ambush by a bear and a white wolf, I hear the most beautiful, melancholic song echoing through the cave. Once the creatures are dispatched, I find a rogue Companion singing and pondering the loss of humanity required to become one of the Wolve of Jovasskr (3DNPC).

Hearing that song in the middle of a cave in the heat of combat was pure magic only Skyrim can deliver.

It's pretty amazing how many different stories can be woven with a starting Skyrim character. Sounds like a fun start! Poor Erik.
