The Dawnguard

Leandra and Beor heard about the Dawnguard. A new vampire hunter guild in an old fort. To be specific: The old fort of the old Dawnguard.
Hey Beor! Do you know the story of the old Dawnguard? Leandra asked walking towards the entrance to the Fort.
No. But I guess you'll tell me. He answered following her through the small hole.
She laughed. Yes you're right I will. The old Dawnguard was found after the son of the Jarl of Riften, at least I think it was the son, was turned into a vampire. The Jarl couldn't kill his own son so he exiled him in this fort and sent a few loyal men to watch that his son wouldn't escape. But in the end his jailors were corrupted by the power of his son. She stood there for a while in silence. Hopefully I didn't tell you something wrong.
Beor chuckled and said. Oh don't worry even if it was wrong it's nice to hear your voice.
Leandra giggled shyly. Beor you're trying to get me lie with you again, aren't you? Well I'm not in the mood right now and I think you've had enough a few days ago.
If you think you don't want, your loss. He laughed.

After they passed the entrance they met a young man.
Ah you're here to join the Dawnguard too. I hope you don't mind if I walk with you. To be honest I was too afraid to meet Isran alone. Please don't tell him this. Not the best start for a vampire hunter, huh?
Leandra laughed. Don't worry I won't tell him your secret. Is this the fort? It almost seems abandoned. She said since there weren't any soldiers on the walls.
Let's hope someone is inside. The boy said.

Inside the fort they found two men debating. One was a Vigilant of Stendarr and the other one was a man in strange armor and a greatsword on his back.
Isran, the Vigilant said, the hall of the Vigilants was destroyed by vampires.
And now you come to me, begging for help. I believe your leader said that this fort isn't worth the effort of rebuilding it. I won't help you since you refused to help me. Said the leader of the Dawnguard angrily.
Isran they're all dead. We were wrong and you were right. Is this what you want to hear? The Vigilant said his voice trembeling. Stendarr protect you that you may not experience the same.
Isran seemed shocked. Tolan. I didn't know. I'm sorry. I tried to warn you but you didn't want to hear. And who might you be? He turned to Leandra.
I'm here to join the Dawnguard. She said. Do you need any help?
Yes. Tolan answered. We believe that there is an ancient vampire artifact in Dimhollow Crypt. I'll meet you there. No Isran. He said since Isran wanted to disagree. I know what you think of us. That we are weak and our deaths proofed this but this is the only thing I can do to avenge my brothers and sisters. He turned away. Leandra looked at Isran. He nodded so she turned around and followed Tolan.

Unearthing secrets

As Leandra and Beor went to Dimhollow Crypt they encountered some bandits. Leandra burned and Beor crushed them. So they fell before them.
How many bandits do even exist here? Leandra asked.
I don't know. Beor replied while pulling his warhammer out of a bandit. Of course not. She rolled her eyes and went on.

After an hour they arrived at Dimhollow Crypt only to be greeted by a death hound.
What in oblivion is that? Leandra said while casting a fireball wich made the death hound burn to ashes.
Good work Leandra! You've attracted the atention of those two vampires! Beor shouted and rushed forward.

They killed the vampires only to find out that Tolan fell.
Damn he should have waited. Leandra said. What did he think to fight four vampires at one time? He said that the Vigilants were never trained to hunt vampires.
I understand him. He wanted to avenge them and he didn't care if he'd survive or if he would die. At least he died with honor. Beor said and walked to the vampires to cut their heads from they're shoulders.
Hey stop! What are you doing?! They're already dead! Leandra shouted.
Beor shrugged his shoulders. I know that they're probably dead but to be safe I cut their heads off. Not even undead like vampires can come back if they don't have a head.
If you think so. Leandra went through a gate. When you're finished you could follow me.

In the next room was a vampire with wich Beor quickly dealt with.
Beor! Next time you swing that warhammer into the direction of my face tell me! Leandra said since she was barley able to dodge the swing.
He laughed. Wich warhammer do you mean?
Oh come on really? I didn't think you were that immature. I mean that warhammer wich can crush a wall and no one besides you can lift. She said nerved.
Okay, okay you don't find immature jokes funny. Marked on my list about the things you like and dislike. Beor chuckled.

In the next part of the cave were skeletons wich rose from the water.

As they arrived at a strange door Leandra examined the statues.
Beor did you ever see something like that? She asked curiously.
Nope and I can't say I'm sad about that. They're creepy. He answered.
Oooh is the tall, brave nord afraid of statues made of stone? Leandra teased him.
Beor laughed. Ah just shut up.

They fought their way through some vampires wich killed a Vigilant of Stendarr. After that they arrived at a strange building with a button in the middle.
Hey if you want you can press this button. Leandra said.
Beor chuckled. Nah I think this is a mission for the dragonborn.
Yes, yes. She mumble pressing the button. AAH! That fucking thing just pierced my hand but at least I activated something.

After a while the building gave in and a sarcophagus rose with a vampire in it.
Who, who are you? Who sent you here? The woman asked.
A man named Isran. Are you a vampire? And is that an Elder Scroll? Leandra asked.
Yes and yes. I'm Serana by the way.Could you bring me home? I'm sure to repay you and your friend here. Serana pleaded.
She nodded. Of course. As payment I simply want gold but I don't know what Beor wants.
Ah I don't know yet but maybe I'll know something when we're at your home. He answered.
And so they went to Serana's home.

A gift or a curse?

This is your home? Leandra asked in astonishment. You could've told me that it was a castle.
Serana grinned. Ah I forgot sorry. We need to take the boat to get there.
Woah, woah, woah! I'm not getting in this small boat. You two go alone and I wait here for Leandra. Okay? Beor said.
Okay bye! The two women laughed and got into the boat.

After they rowed across the sea they were greeted by vampires, Serana's family.
Ah Serana you've returned. How much I've missed you. I searched for you all those years and didn't find you. But here you stand. Now tell me, who is this woman you've brought into our home? The lord asked.
She's my saviour. She freed me from this sarcophagus. Serana answered.
For my daughter's save return you have my deepest grattitude. I am Harkon. Lord of this court. What's your name, Breton? He asked.
Leandra kneeled before him. I am Leandra my lord.
Ah you have manners. I only have one gift to grant you wich is equal for saving my daughter. I offer you my blood. Accep it and you will- He began to say when Leandra interrupted him.
I accept you gift.
He laughed. Eager to become a vampire, huh? Well then so be it. Hold still.

Leandra woke up on a hard, cold floor.

Where am I? She thought, And why am I feeling this cold?
