Entry 7- Tigras follower? Aww yeah!

Oh boy am I excited guys. I got a lot of cool things done yesterday, but I decided to wait until today to unveil what I've gotten done so far. First of all, thanks to a generous contribution from altmagr, I now have one of the four dungeons I need. I've fully navmeshed it now, so it is basically ready to go. I have also redone the navmeshing for Tigras's home cave, which removed all of the navmesh errors in it. However, I have some plans for this new cave, and I'm probably going to add my own touches to it by the time I am done.

Now for the exciting news that I'm sure all of you have been looking forward to... Tigras will now follow your dragonborn wherever you want to go! He currently has most of the features of a normal follower, except with completely unique dialogue that makes him completely independent of the vanilla follower system. This means he (should) not be effected by mods like AFT, UFO, or EFF. I'm working on getting him to be able to carry things for the dragonborn too, but I'm not sure that will work out. We'll see. Only problem is right now he just follows you, and doesn't fight for you at all. Will fix asap, of course, but I thought that was amusing enough to be worth mentioning, haha. (Credit to atrix for helping me see how followers work.)

At any rate, this sets up a lot of the basics for relationships between the player and Tigras. I already have a couple of them planned, but if you have suggestions, I'm all ears.

I've also added in a new "Howl for Help" spell. Basically, you use it, and a very, VERY angry Tigras shows up to kill all of his beta's enemies. I'd like to have an actual howl sound effect, but as of right now, I don't have anything yet. It lasts for a minute before Tigras calms down and heads back home.

At any rate, progress is slowly being made now. I still need more dungeons though. Navmeshing dungeons by hand is really easy though, I must say. It probably took me less time to navmesh altmagr's dungeon by hand than it would have taken to fix the auto-generated navmesh... haha.

*Edit* Added in a second howl spell for when Tigras is a follower. Basically, it will send him into an even stronger blood rage than the howl for help spell. The balancing between the two is that one is a significantly less strong buff, but can be used whenever it is needed, while the other howl is over twice as effective, but can only be used once a day.

Mechanics Explanation ahead:

Howl for Help is the spell you will have when Tigras is not a follower. When you use it, he will show up for 1 minute to help with your enemies, with a small damage and resilience buff. Afterwords, Tigras will head back home. It can be freely used as needed, but is disabled while Tigras is present (obviously).

Howl in Pain is the spell you will have when Tigras is a follower. It can only be used once per day, but will create a much more intense rage in Tigras, making him significantly more powerful for two minutes. If he was waiting, he will instantly be at your side again, ready to tear your enemies apart. After the spell ends, his rage will subside again, and if he was previously waiting, he will return to doing so. He will be significantly more powerful while in this rage, taking minor damage from anything, while dealing significantly more damage .

It's your choice which spell you want, but I'm going to be doing a lot more support for having Tigras as a follower, including a special perk tree that will focus on making you and Tigras better. (Beta Perks, wooh!) Also, I'm thinking about having something that will help the player's arousal while Tigras is around, helping the player to keep it down better. Meanwhile I'm also planning some buffs/debuffs depending on how long it has been since the player has last mated with Tigras.

Hah... Hard to believe v1.0 was going to be a small Update originally. I guess I'm just not capable of doing small updates, more often... Hope you guys are excited though. :)

Scratch that, he's now protecting his beta, just like one would expect.

I'm probably going to be editing this entry quite a bit as I continue my work. Keep your eyes on this one, guys.
