Hiiiii!~
I've been back from vacation for about two weeks now and I've been busy, busy, busy. Sorry to keep you waiting lol. Since I was gone so long, I thought I'd give you a 2 for 1 deal and talk about two movies in one post.
First up?
My Angel
If you've happened across my new thread The Wicked Theatre over in the SimsLab then you've probably gathered that I struggled with this film. I've only ever struggled with one other film in the entirety of my pornographic directorial career. What made My Angel so difficult was that, for once, I had no idea what the story was. I had had a flash of inspiration -- a blond haired, blue eyed angel in a golden cage. This image was from a story I've been trying to write for about three years now. The story's gone nowhere but I couldn't forget that image so I decided to turn it into a Sims film.
Before I left on vacation, I stumbled on Mount Olympus over at MTS. I had no idea when I saw it that I would use it. I mean, it's pretty far out and beautifully constructed but I had no use for it. Da da da da! Behold! The perfect heavenly location for this film!
I edited the lot extensively. Got rid of the Grecian royal purple tones, cleaned up the floating sparklies, got rid of the living quarters and completely gutted the...er...Room of Power? I swapped out the standard marble for something a bit more understated, added some fog emitters, the cage, a couple of angel statues and a beautiful gilded window. I also added a 2 story door to the Portal to Heaven (or the Pearly Gates), rearranged the columns and voila--heaven was finished!
[There were supposed to be pictures here but I deleted them. ]
But--I didn't know what to do with it other than have my angel in the cage. I mean, who was going to come ravage her perfect body? Who would get to enjoy her surreal beauty? How would they get there? Slowly, it dawned on me. An average Joe type, cute as a button, would be that lucky bastard.
Check out the movie for the full story (available in HD!).
Next up:
I'm not going to say a word about it (yet) other than, I cannot wait for you guys to see it. Thanks to Ein for the movie poster and for helping with PS. And just one more thing: enjoy the shots of Lace. You've seen her before, but not quite like this. ^ ~
