Hopefully answered for you in the next iteration.

As for it being relevant in the main story - Maybe, maybe not . The point of the "Bad Endings" are to explore things that wouldn't really make sense to fit into the "canonical" timeline of the main series, so for now just assume it's all logic that's unique to this Bad End route.
