Gulra-style citations, stylizing mod credits

Misplaced Reality

While I browse modding communities, but most specifically LoversLab, I notice that we lack a common citation method. Now, I am not going to enforce anything upon you, but please, consider this suggestion when you are about to upload some work that also has more people and mods involved.

I am also aware that most authors (if not all) give credits properly to the correct authors. The Gulra-style citation only exists (and can exist) after the first requirement is fulfilled which is that people are willing to give credit and already respect others work, so consider this as the name suggests, an idea to stylize how credits are given and not some imposing rule. Now, let's introduce you to the Gulra-style citation.

Why should I use the Gulra-style citations?

( a ) With a unique way of referring and citing to authors we can ensure that users understand what sections of the mod available to them is a derivative of another, and we ensure as authors that proper is given where it belongs through a standardized format.

( b ) Sometimes authors may be reluctant to allow others to create derivatives because there's always the fear of someone simply taking the mod and "forgetting" to give credit where needed. Using Gulra-style citations can ensure that these people are filtered out quickly, but also effectively ensure that authors are given proper credit. (As mentioned in (a))

Gulra-style citation format

How to refer to a single mod made by a single author:

a) <Author's Name>, <Mod Name>,
for <Full Game Name>, by <Developer Name>
, at <Domain of Upload linking to author's profile>.

If the mod in question is part of an even larger mod then you have to use double quotes around the Mod Name (example ( ( b ) below)

How to refer to a bigger mod made by multiple authors:

d) <Author 1>, <Author 2>, <Author 3>, and others, "<Mod Name>", for <Full Game Name>, by <Developer Name>, at <Domain of Upload linking to thread/page/post etc.>

You always cite all the authors alphabetically by the author name, by the first author used. Never use numbers (1-10) for each author.
