Welcome back to the land of Skyrim. When we last left off with our heroine, Alma, she had been having a rather eventful time at the estate of Maven Blackbriar. After witnessing some events she'd likely just as soon forget, Maven whisked her away to something she referred to as a "Cattle" auction, to discuss their potential business arrangement. This is where we join them...

As we close on Act 1 of The Briar Patch, I hope you've enjoyed our story so far. Our next couple chapters will be following Sanguine and Aza as we learn more about who and what the "Vessel" is. After which we'll return to The Briar Patch for act 2 of Alma's adventures in Riften.

As always, thank you for reading!

The plot thickens would probably be the term here. At least she is wise enough to hurry up, get it over with and out ... though I doubt it will be that simple, nothing ever is, right? ^^
While being pretty unlike her mother, Ingun still seems interested to... hmm, connect with the local nobility. ;)

Oh, I'm sure when we return to Alma she'll simply hand her formula over and get the hell out of town with her pay. No issues, no complications. I mean, what could go wrong...

And your observation on Ignun genuinely made me laugh.

I feel like someone once explained the art of subtlety to Maven and she only half understood...
