We join Aerina in the swamps of Morthal. Having been hired by the town guard to track down and permanently deal with an Argonian bandit who's be plaguing the townsfolk for months. She arrogantly wanders the swamps, ignoring the warnings from the guards about other would be bounty hunters who never returned, but to no avail as the Argonian seems to hiding too well amongst the reeds and shallows of the marsh. With the evening rolling and a storm pouring down overhead, she decides to call it quits and head back to town to try again another day. However, with the thick evening fog of the swamps obscuring the horizon, she is turned around and starts to head further into the swamp instead of towards the town. As she aimlessly wanders into the fog, she feels she is being watched by prying eyes peeking round trees... but it is in the shallows below where she should have been paying attention
