SLSF Reloaded - How to use the Exporter and Importer
Overview
SLSF Reloaded has an Import and Export function to help preserve your Fame data, important flags set my other mods, and Custom Location registration. However, this WILL NOT Export or Import the MCM settings.
Exporting Your Data
To export your Fame Data, you may simply click "Export SLSFR Data", then close the MCM to go back to the game. The process will begin, taking a snapshot of your current fame values in all locations, as well as any important internal flags set by other mods (such as Simple Prostitution), and any Custom Locations you've registered.
You may also give this file a Name, which is useful for saving multiple characters. This name is important! When you try to import your data, the name MUST match the name when you exported, or the mod won't find the file (or import the wrong data)!
DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE JSON FILE MANUALLY! Always set the name in the MCM to ensure proper detection of the file!
Importing Your Data
To import your Fame Data, simply click "Import SLSFR Data", then close the MCM and go back to the game. All of your exported data will be restored. If for some reason your Custom Location no longer exists, they should be safely skipped - but I cannot promise something won't break in every circumstance. I cannot account for every possible scenario.
REMEMBER - THE EXPORT NAME MUST MATCH THE NAME YOU SET WHEN EXPORTING OR THE IMPORTER WILL NOT FIND IT!
If you need to figure out what you named the file, you can find the JSON files in "Data/SKSE/Plugins/StorageUtilData/SLSF_Reloaded".
The file's name will be "{Export Name} SLSF Reloaded Data.json". For example, if your export name is "Tim" the file will be named "Tim SLSF Reloaded Data.json".
The Default is blank, meaning it will be named "SLSF Reloaded Data.json"
IMPORTANT NOTES
Do not edit the JSON files in any way! You could break something! If for some reason you absolutely must edit a JSON file, send me a Private Message and I will help you.
If you don't want or need a JSON file anymore, you can delete it without issue.
