Yep, appears Serana is indeed a slow learner ... or she enjoys these kind of sexual encounters and the high stakes created by them. Or maybe she is subconsciously suicidal ... getting this old has to have an effect on a mortal mind. Time will tell.
At least Luxia is more patient with her then she is with most, admit it or not, she likes her and probably yearns a little for friendship/companionship from a somewhat kindred soul (being a vampire, Serana has some daedric essence in her after all).
