Wow, thanks for the direct feedback. Looks great. You know, that was of course not a request, but just an idea. I got another one: how about something like a corset - like this.  Purpose is to emphasize the hips and the body above. And the contrast from the black colour. Something to fix the view upon. Gosh, I'm no good with fashion.

Forget that idea with a corset.

Checked the original dress again. It is darker (most likely causes your set-up a different optic), and has some horizontal seams, plus foldings in the leather itself. Maybe these details would round up the look of your creation. Giving it a more vivid optic.
