"Unlikely Allies" indeed, otherwise known as the "lull before the storm"-chapter.?

Unless of course, Telsei's new Raider-Buddies are secretly the publishers of the "Raunchy Raiders Report"-Magazine and good friends with a certain Freddy. Who just so happend to have had a hidden camera set up when T. was "playing" with Bruno. Would also explain, why they didn't behave like typical raiders. Sooo... it's either going to be really nasty monsters in the basement or Telsei will be "well known" among the local Raider-Gangs before long. One or the other. Perhaps.?

Without spoiling too much, the raiders are indeed 'unlikely allies' in the most literal sense. lol I was kind of hinting at Telsei thinking about the term 'raider' in general and how it's kind of a broad blanket term for anyone who steals/kills to survive in the post-apocalypse, even though not all of them might be enjoying the lifestyle, but rather just doing it out of necessity. So some groups that might be called raiders by others may be closer to 'scavengers who will kill you if they HAVE to' or something like that, hence why these ones didn't just imprison her or kill her and loot her once she stepped on their rig. hehe. 

That being said, they still grew up in the harsh world of the post apocalypse, so they might have a few screws loose... but not as many as OTHER raiders.

As for being the "lull before the storm", this was technically meant to be a "Part 1" chapter and the facility would be "Part 2", but I just decided to make it separate instead since it can also kind of stand on it's own. But yeah, the bigger threat still lies below, hence why she was contracted to 'deal with it'...  lol
