History

No I won't be talking anything specifica about history, just something that I've realised and will be using history as a subject as an example. So due to me listening to Sabaton (and playing Azur Lane, which is surprisingly good for a mobile game) I've come to realise I have an interest in history, specifically military history. Now when I was in school I never actually had any interest in the subject and when given a choice between history, geography and religious education at school I chose geography and I think this actually highlights what a good teacher can do for a student since I regret choosing geography (I didn't get the teacher I liked and spent most of the class asleep) although I don't think my school had any good history teachers either and it's only recently that I've had some small interest in history itself, generally hearing or reading about something and then going to look into it in more detail. I dunno if it's indicative of the teaching I recieved in school or just the fact I've gotten older and my tastes have changed.

Also I would give my thoughts on the Last of Us 2 controversy going on but I don't actually have a dog in this fight as I never played the first game and was never going to get the second either so my feelings can be summed up with this gif:

There is a movie on Netflix called "the King" - it's about the battle of Azincourt. I believe you are a Briton, and I believe that particular battle is quite famous for you folk. If you didn't see the movie, I suggest watching it. I dare say its battle and fighting scenes are very well done, including costume and armory, plus setting, immersiveness e.g. I'd even say it's one of the best "medieval-/ historical movies" since "Kingdom of heavens" and "Robin Hood".
