As the title says this'll just have a bunch of random ramblings, but there are two shots of Mist in the spoiler at the bottom a pair of what if situations if you will.

So first off the Steam summer sale was on and I picked up a few games from it, notably Sunset Overdrive and Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The latter is alright but Uplay's interference makes it somewhat annoying but it's the former I want to talk about, more specifically the "humour" in the game and as you can see from the inverted commas I'm not a fan of the game's humour which feels a bit too try hard for me, it feels like typical millenial (and yes I know I'm a millenial as well) lol so random humour which as I said feels like it's trying TOO hard to be funny. Otherwise the game's decent, however the voice acting on one of the characters feels pretty off to me as it sounds like the VA was told to yell all of his lines.

Also I've gone back to playing Xenoblade 2 which has given me the opportunity to compare it to Xenoblade 1 (just need X to get a remaster now) and there are some things I found interesting. First off 2 has a better combat system then 1, I found 1's combat to be really clunky and while 2's is still somewhat clunky it's far better optimised for the system it's on. As for the protagonists, I actually think Shulk is a far better character than Rex although this isn't helped by the somewhat shit voice acting in 2 for certain characters (Rex being one of them unfortunately) however 2 has 1 beat in just about every other regard though (except maybe story and music, they're about the same imo) especially with the way they handled the named monsters.
