If Into the Deep is already too rough for you then I think Ivy is not for you. There's rougher things coming in the Nuka World addon. Best to uninstall Ivy, I don't think she'll be for you.

To Reginald_001, all I can say is: WOW!!! This companion is amazing!!! I have just started a new game with Ivy installed and she has already cracked me up with her comments. She has already given Marcy from the Minutemen a tongue-lashing in the Concord quest when you first meet them!! It was hilarious. I cannot imagine the amount of work that went into this mod. I must commend you (and your team if there is a team) on a wonderful mod.

Ah OK, well, an amazing, really well-done mod.

I do have one question. I have just received the MCM pop-up warning me about the XDI patch for IVY, however, I see that some people have said that for Ivy 6.1 the patch is no longer needed? Is this correct?

@Reginald_001I have spotted a spelling error in one of Ivy's quests. How can I advise you without giving away a spoiler?

I do have one minor issue with Ivy, when I tell her to stay somewhere, if I then leave and go do a quest on my own and I go into sneak mode and draw my weapon, she immediately teleports to me to assist. Is this intentional or some glitch?

EDIT: Not to worry, I just re-read the Teleportation text file and I see now, it is intentional if you have your weapon equipped. My bad for not reading properly.

Hi all, I am busy playing the Ivy mod and it is great! Just one small question though, I am currently doing the Robotic Assimilation quest and hunting Mercy's Journal no 8. It is in a bunker below Wilson's Atomatoys Corporate HQ and it is asking for key no "P1N8" and I simply cannot find said key. Yes, I have searched EVERYTHING in the building from top to bottom and back. Can anyone assist please? Even just a video link to a walkthrough would be great, thank you.

There's a restricted area—and you need an access card.

I got mine from the "inventor" of the metal pony—you can find him in the settlement with the ghouls (the outdoor swimming pool near the steel mill).

You search the company headquarters... you'll also find one of these access cards in the "inventor's" office.

It's not in a bunker. The 8th journal is in the Public Library.

That is very strange then, the map marker led me to the Wilson Atomatoys Corporate HQ. I can gladly try to upload screenshots if you wish, although I am not too clued up on how to do that in a game.

EDIT: Well, OK, very weird I just booted up the game again and the marker has now moved to the correct location, Boston Public Library. Thank you, @Reginald_001 I do wonder which mod that bunker, it's called "Loop B", comes from then. Oh, well, I guess I will find out at some stage, LOL

Hi Reginald,

idk why, but on my current game i seem to have issues.

I played the game often before, having Ivy with me. I had Ivy, XDI and XDI patch installed, never any issues, getting high affinity and xompleting all her quests up to Nuka World.

After i saw your new Ivy Far harbor mod, i installed midgame and even could go with Ivy to Far harbor her saying something arriving there, triggering a quest.

But since i was already on Far Harbor before, did a few quests, alone for Ivy's Far harbor quests i started a new game.

But on the current playthrough things seem strange. I took much longer than usual get higher on her affinity. And when i already started to doubt, i got to the point i think is max affinity. The one she says something about no matter she's not real, she loves the player char. Was always highest affinity i know. But for whatever reason, her even giving me the author thanks for playing, after certain amount of dialogues with her, game now on close to 100 hours, into the deep seems never to start.

Ivy saying often how she has bugs, that error dialogues, getting the messages from her...but her never asking for you enter her to fix her from inside (into the deep)...

Maybe you have any idea? is there any way i can find out what could do, like testing in game? Tyvm in advance and if any questions pls lmk. Would love get it fixed somehow. Fo4 w/o Ivy working properly isnt the same

Edit: Does it need specific quests to be completed or visiting specific locations? I played with Ivy before many times, no problem. But one thing a bit different on current game is that i havent visited that crazy places.

Edit 2: I just started a new game, tried now without XDI and XDI Ivy patch and Into the deep started like it should. Though i ever had XDI and patch installed, never a problem, might be the issue now.. Maybe because of Ivy goes to Far Harbor installation and the XDI patch not having been updated? Well, maybe i guess.

Having to do w/o XDI i usually couldnt care less...the only real pity is that it is a requirement for the Point Lookout mod. However, love your mod man and glad it works again. Really looking forward to your new update...Will Murray? Love it^^ Btw, the reference to Lost in translation i also liked. Really liked that movie! Not to mention Bill Murray
