About this blog
This is a list of Mods I consider essential, that can be used by this kind of Skyrim Players:
- Vanilla Like Players
- Lore Enjoyers
- Combat Lovers
- Gooners
- Shitposters
- Photo Takers
- Streamers
and most Importantly
- Mod Makers
I'm doing this in case I forgot how to mod and to get feedback for Mod Making.
As such, these are mods that doesn't touch anything of the gameplay or Visuals, using all this will be like playing vanilla, so in general will be mostly Bug Fixes or Resources for other mods, and some notes for mod makers, unless I get some note here, you should just read the description and install the mod
- Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex, If you have a problem with MO2 downloads not starting, just pause and start the download to fix it
- Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE64)
- Address Library for SKSE Plugins
- Actor Limit Fix
- Animation Queue Fix
- Animated Static Reload Fix - NG
- Papyrus Tweaks NG (Still not updated to 1.7.104)
- powerofthree's Tweaks
- Bug Fixes SSE
- Scrambled Bugs (Still not updated to 1.7.104)
- Skyrim Priority SE AE - CPU Performance FPS Optimizer
- SSE Display Tweaks
- SSE FPS Stabilizer
- Sound Record Distributor
- Stuck on Screen Auto Load Door Fix SKSE
- Better Combat Escape - NG
-
Sky Reflection Fix for ENB (The ENB is just for name, works normally without ENB)
-
JContainers SE (Not updated to 1.7.104)
All these mods are updated by talented people, and doesn't need to be touched unless you are really experienced and work with them, is trustful to install them and none of them will be incompatible with themselfs
The next is Essential but needs some tweaks for mod makers
-
Cleaned Skyrim SE Textures:
If you are a mod user, you can install this mod following the instruction that should be loaded after Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch - USSEP, but if you are a mod maker, you should read this:SpoilerCleaned Skyrim SE Textures does have some loose files on a "Textures" folder, this can make some problems because it touch 95 NPCs, so if you:
- Make Faces using Creation Kit
- Use Synthesis
- Or other scripts to move NPCs textures
The FaceTints you make will go here, I had this problem for the number of NPCs it has, so I recommend use Cathedral Assets Optimizer using this configuration:
And delete the "Skyrim - Textures X.esp" from the mod, that will be generated on the folder, you should have only one Cleaned Skyrim SE Textures.esp, this is used to load the generated BSA, and boila, no more posible bugs with this mod, this is important if you constantly make NPC characters
-
Assorted mesh fixes
Consider it the mesh version of Cleaned Skyrim Textures, Install witouth problems if you are a mod user, if you are a mod maker:Spoiler, it could be a good idea to do the same that with the Cleaned Skyrim Textures Above, but I haven't had a problem with it for now, but if you are making mods that replace furniture and are using scripts to move some meshes, that could be a good option
The next are not so essential if you want a more True-vanilla-Like experience, but are essential for other mod users/makers

SkyUI

Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch - USSEP
OK, for new players, this mod can fix many bugs that are present of Skyrim, and yes I know that Arthmoor is "particular", but in the end is a essential mod for big modlist, or even small modlist, and I think is the mod essential mod that most affect the base game, being the border line for True-Vanilla-like
This blog will be updated with suggestion
