Last time, I went through some of the outfits made in City of Heroes for Thradra. But now it's time to go back into the build itself.
This time, we're visiting Gray Pine Goods.
Gray Pine Goods is owned by Solaf, and his brother, Bolund (who runs the saw mill) also lives there. But instead of me describing Gray Pine Goods, I've grabbed a snippet from The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages.
Upon entry, Bolund will be in the process of leaving (see bugs
Diverting a little bit from the building of the base, thought I'd share what the recreation of Thradra was like in City of Heroes.
Two sets.
And the second set is the best one can do in recreating nudity (without mods) in the costume editor.
The Jarl's Longhouse in Falkreath is another well known spot. There's the quest you can pick up from the Jarl to deal with some bandits which will then lead to the ability to purchase the land Lakeview Manor is on. Do a few more things around Falkreath and the Jarl will make you Thane. Now, the Jarl changes depending on at what point you're at in the main questline. If you get there early, the Jarl is Siddgeir, who seems rather foppish, is more concerned with riches and wealth and making dea
One of the well known locations of Falkreath happens to be Deadman's Drink. It's a perfect resting spot in the hold outside of what the player might find in their own home in Lakeview Manor. In City of Heroes, Deadman's Drink is the first of five separate interiors that was created in order to add the feeling of a living area. Personally, there's quite a few good memories of Deadman's Drink. Notable inhabitants of the tavern are Valga Vinicia who is the owner and hostess, the ever present Narri
Two years ago a game I got into way back in 2004 came back. Or rather, I got back into it.
In 2012, it was the shutdown of an MMO called City of Heroes.
In 2020, during the beginning months of the pandemic, I found City of Heroes. And I took the dive back in.
There was a ton of familiarity with the game, and a lot of new things as well. But the thing I found the most enjoyable was base building. I built whole towns and created a representation of Bloodborne
The trip took more than a day, but at least now Thradra was in Falkreath. Home sweet home. At least, home was that one room in the tavern she rented. But that was about to change. There was land available to purchase and she needed to see the steward at the long house in order to get it. She had the funds, at least, so it would be an easy purchase.
Jarl Siddgeir's steward was an Altmer, a woman of some calm and composure. She gave advice when needed, and alaid fears when it cam
Calcemo wasn't as helpful as Thradra had thought. The old man was obstinant, confrontational and a little egotistic. At least Thradra managed to find a note about a pair of goggles that the old man had crafted. She'd have to come back. For now, it was time to head back to Falkreath and finally purchase that plot of land. At least she'd start heading in that direction. After a day filled with scowering through Foresworn hide outs and battling ancient draugr and uncovering stolen shipments,
It was a long trip, travelling from Falkreath to Markarth. There was a reason, though, as the Dunmer bard known as Thradra N'Tir entered the gates of the great dwemer city. At least is was a great dwemer city. Rumour had it that the court mage for the Jarl had information about Dwemer technology, and this interested Thradra greatly.
But first, it was time to rest for the evening.
The Silver Blood Inn was the only reputable place in Markarth to lay one's wea
