Sexlab Warm Bodies Tweaked

blog-0135988001410471867.pngI don't know about you, but one thing about FrostFall has been bothering me from day one - the absence of heat gain from running, combat and riding a horse. Do you have any idea how warm a horse is?

This patch to SexLab Warm Bodies fixes that.

Now you can receive small gains of heat from:

- riding a horse

- running

- sprinting

- being hit in combat

To prevent the mod from becoming a cheat, the patch comes with two restrictions:

- heat gains while running or riding only happen when changing cells

- heat gains per hit are very small

Since it is a very small mod, the original files are not required. You can just install this patch instead.

Enjoy...

Hi skyrimll What about creating a proper mod page. I'm afraid here is not getting the visibility it deserves.

Then I'm a bit baffled by this: It looks two opposite statements to me.

"The files are standalone and meant to be installed over jbezorg's files.
Since it is a very small mod, the original files are not required. You can just install this patch instead".

There is already a mod page for this. His owner said he would update it with my patch but he is probably busy with other things so for now, this blog post is more than enough since I am still experimenting with the concept anyway.

Thanks for the warning about the incoherent instruction. I removed one of the statements :)

One further doubt. Warmbodies had as a requirement Quest versioning SDK. I never understood the reasons for this but I humbly complied with the instructions.
It's still a requirement?

It's already included in your warmbodies plus?

It was never necessary in the first place?

As far as I can tell, the quest versioning script is already included in the BSA. I can't remember installing it separately. It is a small utility to standardize handling version upgrades in mods. Not sure if it is really needed or not.

I am not an expert but judging by the file structure you need Quest Versioning SDK. It includes questVersioning.pex script which isn't included in the Warmbodies Obscure patch.
