  1. Another one... While training with Deshawn during the House chores it seemed to get stuck in endless-mode. I have to repeatedly enter "SetStage _NR_Chores 660" to move on to the next exercise, and then again to move on to the next after that. I swear I was patient and waited atleast 3-4 minutes the first exercise. Either the timers are excessivly long or it got stuck. And then when I sat down afterwards it wouldn't register, so I had to do SetStage _NR_Chores 675 to move on to the conversation, although that might of course have had to do with me messing with the quest by using the SetStage command.
  2. Alright, 'fess up guys and gals... who else have done this quest without wearing the provided panties? I like to see it as... improving customer satisfaction. 😆 Now if I had just remembered to install a custom camera-mod I could have made the screenshot clearer, but I think you get where I'm going with it anyway...
  3. Sorry to butt into the conversation here, but you have to take into consideration that Norita's skillset is utterly useless in the wasteland. She was either a rich, or atleast middle class, girl, most likely heading for college, with several options also indicating she had an interest in dancing, song and theatre. How would she compete on the "jobmarket" of the wasteland? She have no useful skills. Except that she is canonically really hot. The first contact with Corsican is written as a very impulsive thing, and the only thing I would agree to is that is very quick, after just a week at the farm. Would have been more belieavable if it was 3 or 6 months, but still. Yeah, she could be a farmer... sure. But that is a hard life compared to what Corsican is offering. And within days she is too deep in to get out, with Colter and the entire Wasteland anticipating her "debut". Aside from the issue of time, I find it very believable that someone in that situation would take the "easy way", or atleast the initially seemingly, easy way out, when the other option is fighting radscorpions and digging in the hard soil. Now, I'm not far into Norita's story yet, but atleast from the first part I find it beliavable that a high-class educated girl, from a dead world and a dead society, could turn to sexwork when presented with few other options. Also, on a totally different note, @JB., I think I found a (minor) bug. I was at the truckstop, and the hooker was blowing one of the guys there, and as I left the scene and entered Oswald's Office I got a notice for the "spit or swallow"-minigame. I have only seen it once, but it seems it can trigger when an NPC is the one actually performing the act.
  4. That's the thing. Some users in the comments claim it is working fine on NG, other says it doesn't work. I am hoping I just made some silly mistake and forgot something and it's an easy fix, or someone else have had the same issue and managed to fix it. But unless someone recognises some stupid mistake they made too, I guess I'll have to go with the default voice. Not gamebreaking, just slightly annoying. As for the NG patch... yeah... Game was uninstalled at the time, and I can not be bothered with the can of worms that is trying to downgrade the game and making sure to maintain compability when downloading mods. Everything seems to work well on my lightweight list so far, I've only set it up with the required and recomended mods for the Norita path, since I've never played that before. All working except the voice pitch mod... The old mod is utterly broken for NG according to comments, so that's not an option either.
  5. Anyone have any tips on what I could have missed for getting the new voice frequency-mod to work? The mod page isn't very illuminating, and the comments are even more confusing as to wheter it even works on the newest patch or not. Some say yay, some say nay. I have the F4SE plugin folder, and the DLL and .ini file are there. I have the adress library installed of course. But I still get the vanilla voice.
  6. I had that save going for close to 5 years, probably over 1000 hours of play, so a lot of me stopping playing simply has to do with that loss of what I built up, the characters and storylines I had going in there. Starting from scratch in an empty world again is just demoralising. Just as an example I had an entire BDSM-community, with locations, clubs, couples and singles set up using your mod in that world. Just re-creating the basics for that wouldn't take long, but all the context, the relationships, the backstory and everything surrounding it was lost with the save. I have played some since, in a new save that I have started up, but just haven't found much motivation. And the fact that I cheaped out on storage-space for my PC means I can't hold the game+mods on my PC with any other significant games installed at the same time (I have about 115 GB availible, and Sims+mods take about 90 of that), so when I do decide to install it, and move over the mod-folder to the SSD, I can't play many other games at the same time. That and the hassle of updating mods (which usually is a 6-8 hours process with the amount I have) every time I install the game just makes it kind of hard to just play on a whim. Oh how I wish the Sims had an equivalent of the Steam workshop that could just keep mods updated automatically when you download the game... Frankly, I have always had a bit of an issue with the cartoonish nature of the sims games themselves. I used a lot of mods to make the setting more realistic, but in the end it's such an integral part of the sims universe. Currently I am waiting to see if Life By You will provide a more grounded, realistic take on the genre. If it turns out good I will likely prefer that, although I don't think it will ever reach the popularity scope of the Sims the setting just fits better for me. Visually it probably will never have the amount of positions that WW has, if someone even makes a WW-equivalent to it (nudity is confirmed, but as far as I know they haven't said anything about how sex will work yet), but since there is actual dialogue in it, with the ability to write your own as you go, it will be better able to play out the kind of stories I want to play anyway. The buildup, story and context has always been more interesting to me than the pure visual spectacle anyhow, so I am excited to test it out in june when it releases in early access. Or, y'know, it could turn out to be shit, we'll see. 🙃
  7. I might, if I get back into the game. Feel free to use the other stories I've posted as well, as far as I am concerned I just like it if people read them and it doesn't matter to me if that is in my blog here or elsewhere, but like I said, there are a fair amount of out-of-character gameplay commentary in most of them if I recall correctly, much of it concerning the world/save they took place in, and that doesn't exist any more as I had to give up on that save after years of updates to the game and mods being added/removed/updated made it too unstable to continue in, so there is some references to what I like to call "the Kashked cinematic universe", characters and events, that isn't really relevant, I used to post in the screenshot thread as an ongoing story but I only ever really copied over the last couple of stories to the blog. It's all kind of messy that way. "The Experience" is, I think, the only stand-alone I did, that also was totally without any kind of reference to the game itself, which is why I suggested that one in particular.
  8. So this might be a problem. I have done a few stories, but most are pretty meta, that is, including gameplay commentary. I do have one which is pure story without any such commentary here that I rather like: HOWEVER, I have no idea what CC or animations are actually in it, so there is no way to assign credit aside for the Sims used which is noted in the description. That being said, if you'd like to include it, feel free.
  9. If you want a bit of pre-emptive information on what to expect when doing a CS->NR (with light story-spoilers) this is my experience:
  10. They can also spawn in some pretty silly scenes. When I was doing the digging scene Gristle appearantly decided to bring another slave, and a big damned cross to hang her up on, just for decoration. Why couldn't she do half the digging? It's like slavery is unfair or something...
  11. When you turn them off, do you need to reload the cell for it to take effects or is it instantaneous?
  12. I am guessing this will interact badly with a mod like Commonwealth slavers that add crosses that are meant to be used for the player in certain scenes?
  13. True. I didn't play Cyberpunk until 1.5, and found it a wonderful game. Wont speak to how it was at release, but I know the feeling. I'm a big fan of Imperator: Rome since day 1 over in the grand strategy genre, which is held up by most players as a fiasco and a terrible game which many people are now slowly starting to look at in a different light a couple of years later, so I know the feeling of being on that side as well. I do also love the concept of game mechanics being integrated in the story as a concept, so it's nice to see someone speaking well of the game. It's 20% off right now, but I think I won't go higher than 50% still. 😅 The thing about single-player games is that it'll be just as good in 3 years as it is now and I'll get around to it someday.
  14. As someone who also have lot of must-have mods I usually wouldn't part with my advice is... Just create a modlist to play Nukaride (same goes for Commonwealth slavers if you want something darker). It starts right out of the vault, and you can play through it without touching a single vanilla quest, using a single vanilla item (aside from food if you play survival, and possibly meds) or interacting with the vanilla game at all. For all intents and purposes it can be played as a total conversion mod. When you reach the end of the mod, congrats, you won the game, no need to continue, and when you wanna play vanilla storylines, you do that with all your normal favourite mods, just turn off CS/NR. Just my personal take. I had a couple of mods I usually use in my games that never came into play in my playthrough, because these mods are so far removed from normal gameplay it's essentially a seperate game.
  15. Not gonna lie, that is actually pretty cool. Had no idea about that. I'll probably buy it at some point, if it's 75% off or so, and the mods have been developed. Like I said, the game is kind of a blank book to me, so I'm not actually negative towards it, even though I haven't heard anything positive about it. I just found Bethesda untrustworthy after the F76 fiasco and when the game then kind of faded into obscurity straight after release I kind of just forgot it existed.
