Sexout Affairs - Ideas, Suggestions, Discussion

I currently have mikoto installed since that one has a ponytail for guys. I haven't gone thru all of the girl's hairs yet so not sure if there's one that would fit yet. will work on looking at the hairs tomorrow. For now I must think of a way to make the outfit. I think it's possible to combine a few parts of other outfits and nifscope it. but not sure if anyone's willing to do that.

Or just retexture some existing mods. pretty sure one of jo's outfits has a hot pants and bikini top outfit. Change the texture for that' date=' add a jacket, gloves, holster, and boots then it'd be set. I think...

I need some sleep...

Cool!

Maybe you can convince one of the awesome artists in the LL/FO3 FNV/ adult download section to lend you a hand. I never fiddled with nifscope, so I can't help you here, unfortunately.

No need to rush things tho. It will probably take a while, before I can even think about adding new characters.

For the moment it's all about fixing bugs and adding features.

Just took Inga on our first date. Kinda strict, isn't she?

We went to the V&V. Conversation went well, dancing went well, gave her a bottle of whiskey. All good. But then I didn't have any food on me and got tagged "Bad Date".

Guess I'm off to hate-fuck the sleeve of my favorite jacket.

Love the idea behind the scoring system sound effects, sounds in use are a little loud and...extreme. Why not save yourself some datapack space and use the ingame pass/fail sound effects? I think its a slot machine jackpot for yay and...silence for boo? Or maybe the applause/boo sound effects from winning or losing a game of caravan.

Yeah, but once you get to know her, she's low maintenance :D

She gives hints about what she likes in one of her get-to-know-topics. You can get one more hint, if you try to pickpocket her. She has some food with her that might help you on your date. She likes Whiskey, but it isn't her favorite...

I used custom ones, as the other sound effects are associated with other events. What I mean with that is, that, if you hear my sound effects, you associate them immediately with my mod. Kind of like what bethesda, obsidian or every other game developer does, when you advance in level (in fallout: the short beep sound if you complete a challenge, the level up fanfare, etc.). You link the sound with a positive event and feel like you've accomplished something.

So it's basically all about "mind games" :D

I know that the effects themselves are not the best or the most appropriate. I didn't retouch them neither, so they can be a little loud, based on your settings.

I've created a poll about sound effects in the OP, to find out how people think about them.

Do you have any sound editing software? I have Audacity installed. Never done more than make sound clips with it but I'm willing to experiment if needed.

If you don't have anything at hand...:P Something for the "evil" players.

No, no such things. Iirc there are some basic editing features in the GECK. Played around with them a bit but couldn't hear the difference. I'll wait with the sound effects, until I have a good picture on what people want, from the poll.

Audacity is an excellent tool for sound editing. Originally picked it up for uploading sounds for Second Life and it has great editing features that make it simple to splice/cut sounds, basic plugins to lower or increase volume, white noise cancelleres, pop cancellers, all kinds of effects.

Ahh cool. I just assumed it was some fancy and expensive sound editor. I must have it confused with some other program.

Going to give it a shot, sometime.

Just trying this out for the first time today. I have the basic requirements and just added the recommended mods too. I always use Mojave Delight, sometimes Mikotos and the other one is new to me.

My character just came across Inga at the the casino in Primm. I found her easily, unfortunately she has a head, hands and feet without a body, lol. I didn't see a body type as a requirement. I'm using Type3 (Cali) > bouncing body mesh > T6M (with Asymatra's Compatability Skeleton). Should I be using something else?

Edit: Isn't there a console command you can use to change an NPC's body? I thought I've done that once before. I just don't remember how.

Yeah, Lings was originally for FO3 and got ported to F:NV. It was quite popular in F:NV's early days. The modder got banned from Nexus though, and put his stuff on ModDB instead.

Make sure you fulfill the requirements for MD itself.

I'm using a T6 body myself with no problems. But IIRC MD uses type3 compatible skins, which should be compatible to all type 3 and type 6 body meshes.

I had some ideas for extra date options for Inga (Going to the V&V over and over is kinda dull).

-Picnic on the promontory overlooking the town. Nice view without being visible, options for adventure-sex...

-Exploring the Bison Steve. Maybe collect a souvenir from a dead convict. Lots of useable beds there too...

-Hunting trip either northwest into the hills for geckos or south to the racetrack for some radscorpion venom. Collect some ingredients to bring back to Ruby for some of her casserole.

Just throwing them out there, if you already have other plans ignore me.

Argh... screw "run the bison steve" lol... they already have "run the lucky 38" surely that is enough! I say that only because' date=' of all the ideas KS came up with, that is the one I am most excited about!

Although promontory picnic comes a close second!

That Bison Steve mod is a pretty good one but there's no reason why you can't make them compatible. If you had to you could just duplicate the Bison Steve entrance and place it beside the current entrance (2 sets of double doors) so that when the Bison Steve mod changes it to point to the new interior cell you still have a set of doors pointing to the old cell (though that may seem odd for immersion's sake).

That's certainly an option. Although, it would be weird to stand in a barren casino suddenly again.

Another option could be, if I detect that that one is installed and place some reference in the new cell or take one of theirs. The marker rat does the rest...

Given, of course, this is possible with getmodloaded and buildref.

Or, I'd simply remove the option of being able to go there, upon detection of Bison Steve alltogether, to avoid having to make compatibility patches at all.:D

(which in incidentilly would be a compatibility patch again)

The Run the Bison Steve mod is already weird. The interior layout of the rebuilt casino is nothing like the original interior layout. Adding a second set of doors leading to the original cell would probably be acceptable.

I think I had it installed some while ago, but never really played it. I will download that one again and check out, if it's worth the trouble.

I've always felt that the best way to phrase this is "I will make compatibility patches for mods I use personally". Naturally, the mods you use personally is subject to your own whims (and doesn't have to be true), so you can make patches when/if you feel like it and don't have to when you get annoyed.

I'll always have the option to detect it and disable the topic to go there in the first place.

By the looks of it, that mod is quite popular, so this would be acceptable I guess. I'm aware that I don't want/have to do comp patches for everything, but that particular thingie wouldn't be that hard. It wouldn't require me to say "it's not compatible".

I'm doing the same thing with smallertalk already. If you'd be able to talk to her, while she travels, you would break her. I add her to the smallertalks exception list and disable it for her and it's not incompatible anymore.

Something along those lines would be okay, I guess. But I haven't really tried that one, so if I like it, I would go the extra mile of making it compatible.

Just reread your original post and the problem you describe isn't MD. You're missing meshes and textures of the outfit!

Donwload them here!

Mhm. You were right about the armor mod. That's what I needed. Just installed it and it worked a charm. Sadly, my first date bombed! Lol. Thanks for the help. :D

Run the Bison Steve already has a way to get into the unmodded part, at least the upper floors. Theres a switch you can enable somewhere that makes the roller coaster door to the second floor open into the unaltered 2nd/3rd floor cell.

You could also add a "Maintenance Man" NPC to the Bison Steve that tells you when you ask him "What happened to all the stuff that was here before you remodeled?" that "Oh, that old junk? We threw it all in the basement..." and then add a basement entrance in the Casino that has been burrowed into by some beastie or another to provide a challenge.

Had a random once-off idea. If you meet the following requirements:

-Meet Inga before completing the Primm quests, while everyone's still hiding in the Vikki and Vance

-Go on your first date AFTER completing the Primm quests but BEFORE the V&V opens back up (place is empty)

-manage a Very Good or better first date

you can score right there under the car she loves so much ;)
