WhaleCumIsPass Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 So I'm editing this now realizing I posted this in the wrong section, I should've posted this in Skyrim special edition I'm still new here so sorry for that if any mods can move this to SE that would be great. I have been trying for 3 days to install mods here but I can't quite get a hold of it, I keep making mistakes that I don't know how to fix, I'm just hoping someone here can either link me or give me an in-depth tutorial on how to install this 1 mod, though I do plan on getting other mods but I'm hoping I'll know by then. I do use nexus mod manager since I prefer not doing it manually. The mod I want to install currently is Horny Creatures Of Skyrim SE I've Installed Aroused Redux, Sexlab framework, Fnis, Fnis creatures, Skse, Skyui all of them working properly at least I think I know Skyui is working, I would get the pop ups saying Sexlab has been added or something along those lines, if I went into magic I would have 2 spells which I forgot the name of again but it was someone with target debug and myself they did nothing, Eventually I realized that I had to run Fnis so I did and I got a bunch of animations but when I launched skyrim everything was stuck in a t-pose. I looked up how to fix the issue but I didn't really understand a single thing of how to fix it so now I'm here, I've currently Uninstalled everything to do with sexlab so my game workings perfectly so I will have to re-install all of this, I really do hope someone can give me a detailed indepth explanation on how to install mods from here or specifically the mod I'm trying to install Also if you could tell me how do I actually use the mod? Like how do I get the animations to start working.
Sarge Misfit Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 To ask the obvious, did you sort the load order using LOOT?

I did try but I don't think I'm not completely sure if I did it right, I will watch a tutorial on using loot later and try again.

I tried running loot again but now I'm getting errors with it, it cannot find any supported games. I put in the directory to Skyrim it accepted it but it shows no plugins or mods on it.
Sarge Misfit Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Odd. NMM should be placing the unpacked mods in your Data folder. Mine did, I just let it go with the defaults. Works fine despite having Skyrim SE on a seperate partition, D:\ I was installing Skyrim SE using NMM, but I'm a bit too old school and prefer manual installation. I'll now be using NMM to activate the mods. LOOT installs like any other app. Once installed, just run it. You will get the name of each function when you hover your mouse over the icons on the top taskbar. The LOOT menu icon to check is the one that looks like 3 dots in a column, on the far right. That's the Options menu. You should find Settings 6th from the top. Open that and make sure Auto-detect is enabled.
Sarge Misfit Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Oh, something that might help with your LOOT installation. I always run the install .exe as Administrator.
valcon767 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 ok this should (hopefully) help first thing to do is to make sure you have the proper versions (you said SSE so make sure you have the SSE versions of the mods) 1 - make a backup of you SkyrimSE (somewhere so if everything goes haywire you can redo back to a working installation easier) OPTIONAL ; you do have a body replacer installed right??? you will have to choose for your self for female and for male there is a SOS SE version here on LL. 2 - install FNIS as it tells you on its main page on Nexus (the instructions on how to install and run it are there). 3 - install Sexlab (and its requirements, such as SKSSE and SKUI SE) 4 - install Aroused Redux 5 - install Creature Framework (SE version is here on LL) 6 - install SLAL (Sexlab Animation Loader - there is a SE versions here on LL) 7 - install More Nasty Critters (SE version is here on LL) you need this so creatures have "equipment" 8 - install HCOS (SE version of courseis here on LL) 9 - install more SLAL packs if wanted (there are some SE SLAL packs) 10 - install a mod to actually start the animations (check the SSE download section) ; Random Sex will do just that between 2 people, Defeat will start them when you are defeated or it can when you defeat enemies, and i am sure there are more 11 - run FNIS (check in game and if you get the t-pose you made a mistake somewhere with installation or running of FNIS) 12- play game (you will have to use whichever mods you installed in step 9 to actually start the animations) notes FNIS (step 2) puts animations (from mods) into the game Sexlab (step 3) is the framework that lets sex happen (but does NOT trigger it) Body replacers make the animations look better (by allowing you to be naked) Aroused (step 4) lets people (and creatures) become horny (and satisified) Creature Framework (step 5) handles creature mesh swapping so that you can see creatures "equipment" SLAL (step 6) lets you add animations to Sexlab so that they can be used MNC (step 7) actually has the creatures "equipment" HCOS (step 8) is just a pack for SLAL, but for it to do anything you need the stuff from steps 5,6, and 7. SLAL Packs (step 9) jsut give extra choices to Sexlab for when a mod triggers animations Step 10 is VITAL as this is what will actually trigger the animations to play in game Step 11 is VITAL as without doing this the animations will not work in game this process should work (but be aware i am not on SE myself but the process is still the same) MadMansGun has written a very good guide (for Skyrim LE) on how to get it all to work that you could read/look at to understand it (and he explains it better than me).
WhaleCumIsPass Posted May 14, 2018 Author Posted May 14, 2018 Okay, thank you everyone for your help! I probably would've given up by now if it weren't for you both!
