SOS mismatched skin color seam on custom races (Solved)

So it's been a while since I bothered to play or mod anything. I probably ought to know this already but how can I edit SOS textures for use with a custom race? Got the whole skin seam thing going on.

 

Edit: Finally figured it out after much trial and error, no thanks to a few particularly rude individuals in discord. It's a really simple fix that I'll be happy to walk other know-nothings such as myself through, shoot me a message or whatever. Thinking I might throw together a simple guide since there doesn't seem to be one yet.

Fixed. Turns out all you need is GIMP and a bit of patience
