throwaway734 Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Stationmaster is a base-building game with a 4X space strategy component and a heavy focus on sexual slavery (think Dungeon Keeper meets Free Cities). You play as the owner of a space station, and take it from a floating brothel to the center of a galactic empire. There are procedurally-generated slave girls, dozens of animated cutscenes, a full raiding and conquering system for a galaxy of planets, and enough other features that I can't really list them all here. Major kinks are slavery, rape, free use, conquest, and general sadism, with a dash of tentacles and a couple opportunities for sex with sleeping/drugged women. There's a lot more on the table as far as those go (everything from gags to aliens), and patrons can vote on which ones get added. It's currently locked to a male protagonist and female slaves, though that may change if there's significant demand. https://imgur.com/gallery/nyrH9UT There's a free version and more information available on my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/stationmaster Or just download it here: https://nofile.io/f/VtxSeCFnC97/StationmasterFree.zip This has been a long time coming, and it's really strange putting it out into the world. I hope some of you enjoy it!
Guest Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Visually very interesting and hopefully mechanically-so as well. The slave management stuff isn't really my jam, but best wishes. This is the kind of thing (effort, quality, uniqueness) I want to see more of.
Tiress Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 I've played the free version for about 4 hours and enjoyed it, BUT... there is still a lot of room for improvement. Just to point out a few things that bothered me... 1. Animations are fine, but most of time I can see them from afar, or from main character POV with no option to rotate the scene. I really appreciate facial expressions though! 2. There is no map rotation. 3. Negative events, like Assassin, Reporter etc. have no negative impact if I just ignore them (and that happens a lot). The bottom left bar with notifications is nice and informative, but I think these events don't stand out there in any way and so are prone to be ignored. 4. Many objects are missing some kind of indicator of which direction are they facing. So far I've seen this only on Dance floor. I understand it's still in development so I won't dwell on things like more stuff to build, or some kind of endgame and wait how those will evolve. What I really want to highlight - I experienced no bugs whatsoever. I haven't played it for long, but there are games in beta stage in far worse condition. Anyway, thank you for sharing, it was mostly pleasant experience.
Froggy Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Needs more alien chicks. I can tell from the dialog that you've played Startopia, which is good. So let's go from there. #1: Do hallways serve any purpose? Everyone just telepoprts from location to location, and without seeing anyone moving around I can't tell if hallways really matter or not. It would be nice to see people moving around instead of just blipping in and out all over the place. #2: UI for placing buildings is hard to use. Doesn't seem to line up when placing, though bulldozer function works perfect. Maybe copy that method for the construction end as well? #3: You can build apartments for your staff. Great! What staff? As far as I've seen the entire staff consists of yourself and a bunch of slaves that can only work in brothels. #4: Which leads me to the issue of a lack of variety in jobs & staff. Got a slave that said she was a brilliant researcher before. Great! Can I put her to work in a lab to make upgrades? My shopping centers apparently run themselves - I've got three diners with no cooks, no servers, no anybody. How about a bar with a bartender? Put a dumb, useless slave to work as a janitor to deal with trash build-up. Have a middle-level brains person work on station maintenance. My point here is that while the sex stuff is done, everything else that makes a station sim seems to be missing. Like I said, you've got whores and nothing else. Feels kind of empty. #5: I can live without map rotation if I could at least have furniture rotation. Having all my hotel & brother doors facing the same way really limits the design options. #6: Speaking of doors, where are they? Furniture rooms have them but what about doors that we can just put in the hallway? #7: Tutorial is basically absent. "Buy slaves, make money." Yes, I kind of knew that part going in. Tutorial needs to contain actual help. #8: Desk needs more functionality besides "go raid stuff." Like a spreadsheet to keep track of people, for example. Or letting us set prices for things, or see how much money any particular facility is earning. Having to manually hunt down slaves to interact with them is a pain, especially when the dialog when I manage to find one and click on them says "you summon them to your room." It would be nice if it really worked that way, yes? #9: Slaves seem to lack any real personality. Only stat I've even seen is obedience. Not much variety in body types, either, but that's not a high priority. Let's just start with giving them some character, or at the very least more stats to work with. #10: Hotkeys. For the love of God, please add Hotkeys. Thanks! #11: I can only own one combat drone? Really? I hope the rest of the ships don't have this problem.
Froggy Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Well, looks like this one got abandoned in record speed.
mallee Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 This is being actively developed and is in no way abandoned. Looks like the OP just stopped posting here. You can check out the Patreon if you'd like, but to put it simply, the developer is releasing new builds (with significant chunks of new content) quite frequently and regularly interacts with patrons and forum users alike... IDK what happened to this particular thread, but he's active on several other sites.
