Need some help with CTD

Like the title says, i need some help with a repeatable CTD. Specifically, the game crashes soon after start-up, right before the main menu is supposed to show. fnis reports a couple of missing and duplicate animations, but from what i understand these should not form an issue. It's likely some mod, or a conflict, but i can't for the life of me figure it out, the papyrus log is obtuse. Load-order wise, i run Loot, but I'm not (yet) skilled in figuring out what needs to go where myself.

 

Any help on this regard is much appreciated.

Your have way to many plugins installed, the maximum are 255 plugins

see thats what i thought as well, but i'm not at 255 yet. close, but not 255.

Run LOOT with your modmanager and see what LOOT says about how many plugins you have installed

Post your load order etc into the thread using spoiler tags. Some of us don't like downloading files from unknown sources.

I would like to thank everybody for your help, though in the end i didn't end up needing it. It was indeed a Load order problem, that, after some serious crunching, i was able to fix. Loot had not placed several mods in the correct location. Goes to show i suppose.

Let it be a lesson to all not to rely entirely on LOOT.
