CaCO3 Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Hey, It's me again *shame* today I downloaded and installed peropero armor pack 3 for uunp from kokoros uunp wardrobe (I'm sorry but cannot copy the link because of my mobile). Everything is fine except of the headgear. This gear used the body slots 31 42 &41 and I cannot equip this gear. I suppose something is blocking one of the slots, so I used the creation kit to remove two of the slots. Then I can equip the gear, but I cannot see the item on my character. Is there any work around, or does I have to find the blocking mod and deactivate it? (I think it is maybe frostfall, schlongs of skyrim or some of the dd mods, but I really have no idea...)
nagothm Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Did you change the body slot both in the Armor record (ARMO) and the armor addon record (ARMA)? Both of those records must match or the item will not show up in game. For example in ARMOR the headgear will have the record slot 42, in the Armor addon the outfit piece must have 42 as well. (Additonal slots can be added to the ARMA record such as 31 and 41. The second thing is that if you change the bodyslot in game for an outfit piece in skyrim you must also change that slot in the NIF file. For example open the nif of one of the files you need to change. (You will need NifSkope if you do not already have it) Go to NiNode>NiTriShape and select BSDisMemberSkinInstance. In the bottom menu got to partitions and click on the arrow to the left. Then do it again for the partitions record that appears underneath that. In Body Part, select the same body slot as you assigned to the outfit part in the creation kit. That would be SBP_42_CIRCLET. (The number is what is important) Save the file. If the file is one of a set (one with a _0 & _1) you need to do this to both of them. It should work in game after that.
