LordJerle Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Early in the days of DOA modding, most of the mods were in Umod format. Actually some of my favorite mods, which I still have. What I'm wondering is how hard would it be to convert my bra-less mods over to TMC format? If it's possible, that'd be awesome. I'm attaching an example file just in case somebody wants to give it a shot. White shirt.7z
funtcase Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 pretty simple, you'd have to find and extract the relevant costume from the games bin files with lnk reshuffle or archive tool, then replace the texture using texture tool or LR studio, then drop the edited files in honokas autolink folder.

What funtcase described was detailed steps of how to apply uMod based mod(it means texture only) to TMC/TMCL files. May or may not sounds like 'converting uMod to Autolink(or any other tools) compatible TMC/TMCL files' but his steps certainly work and highly likely that is the most simple and maybe the only way we(I) know and can offer. Absolutely you can do this by yourself using Texture Tools JPN Custom(which I am translating ENG instructions). Sorry for keep you waiting. This is lower priority because: - It is already available and is functioning with uMod(though inconvenience). - This can be done by any modders who has 3 mon+ experience. It was out of imagine but now I have to split and assign my limited resource to dozens of projects. Translation project is now involving Mr.dotoku himself, it means I have to react within timely manner. Girls are making a long line to become pantyless and so on. Without his request, absolutely no exist of wonderful "Wettable & Destroyable combo Mods". So I am sure those creations by early pioneers should spark me and lead to yet another wonderful ideas. So the door is not closed.

So the door is not closed. I checked these uMod based files again and surly got new inspirations especially from Lei Fang's. May not direct reuse or not Lai Fang but some of them will reappear as part of my mods like W&D Honoka. Those wonderful mods only tell me "We DID these while all we can do was replace textures. Why won't you more?"
