Guest Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Hi there. I've been creating a new preset for a character. After I had finished I found issues with the left side eye which was slightly mishapen to the right. Since it's in the nif even changing eye shapes didn't really seem to help and there were still mesh issues. Is there a way to copy one side of the head and flip it to make symmetrical heads? I'd rather not throw away all the work I put into the character. I don't really have any blender skills or anything.
Akzyra Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 No, not easily. Even in a 3D program like blender you can only move the points. If you open the NIF with Blender, you can create a copy and mirror it, then move the points from the original to snap to the mirrored points. Look online for tutorial on how to export/import a NIF.
Guest Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Thanks for the tip. I'm pretty bad with blender so I instead used the mask feature in racemenu sculpt to import some eyes from another head mesh of mine into the file and that seemed to fix it after resculpting to make it fit in.
