Mega & Heretical Resources

Mega isn't letting me dl this file. I used Mega yesterday to dl Sexlab Framework & it worked fine. I still have plenty of room. Any help? Thnx

I thought I was asking on the mod itself site...sorry about that. I asked the modder cuz some1 else suggested..."why not just go ask the modder himself?". My apologies again. The mod in question is Whiterun Brothel Revamped. It isn't ( I don't think) a problem with the mod itself other than u get linked to Mega to dl it. But nothing happens when I get sent there. Mayb it is the mod?

with most of taras mods you download a rar. file from mega. than unzip and enter unzipped folder and theres a code. copy code than paste and go in browser search bar and your there at mega to download the mod. im hoping thats the problem you are trying to convey. when i first tryed to get whiterun brothel,it took me a while to figure that out

Here's what happens when I click on that long dl link for Heretical Resources. It takes me straight to Mega (just like Sexlab Framework did). With Sexlab Framework, it just starts downloading. No big deal. With Heretical Resources, it takes me to Mega but nothing happens. I am sorry but I don't understand what u did to get this Heretical Resources to dl. Could u explain further?  Thank u so much.

Blame Mega.  The dipshits in charge of Mega decided to break all the existing links by changing the format and instead of investing the additional ten minutes it would have taken to keep the old links functional.  So any old link where the author hasn't been back to change it to the new format remains broken.

 

All the information you need is still in the link but you have to reformat it to match how Mega expects the links these days.  If you want to complain, fire at Mega for their colossal fuckup and their stupid failure to even try to fix it.

ok,once your at mega,minumize your  browser.than go back to the rar document you opened to get mega addres.theres 2 lines of code on it.one is the copy paste http mega link.theres also a long line of letters and numbers. you copy that long code,than open browser and paste on the line where it shows  decrypt. some autors dont use decrypt code for download on an exteral link and some do. hope that helps

I c where the modder or some1 has given a direct link to Heretical Resources. It worked fine & I thank u all for helping me out. Becuz of all the other requirements I am gonna wait till my next playthru to start Whiteun Brothel. 

 

Edit: That direct link to Mega wouldn't work on the install side. It's missing the heretical.esm, so says LOOT.

@Ulakmaster It's been 3+ years and it is useful now. Modders are gods amongst men indeed.
