[HELP] What tools do i need to cut/crop armor parts?

Recommended Posts

Well first you would have to load one of the 2 nifs up into nifskope and right click the sleeves and use the block - remove branch to see what is underneath that spot as many modders will remove the body underneath that spot as it's not needed so if you remove it there will be a big hole there. If the body is broken underneath then you'll also have to redo the body in the nif and then remake the _0 and _1 nifs for slider compatibility.

Once you find out what's underneath then you can use outfit studios to zap parts of a outfit out of a nif and add a new body if the old one was broken.

If you click on a piece like the sleeves in nifskope and only the sleeves light up then you can right click the sleeves and go block - remove branch then repeat for the other pieces as long as they are not all attached you can do the same thing. Once everything is deleted use the save as to overwrite the nif and then repeat with the other nif because what you do to one has to be done to the other one as well. So what you do in the _1 nif must be done in the _0 nif or nothing will change in game.

im already using nifskope. And the body underneat is unchanged. I used to use nifskope to cut specific parts like u said, but the problem is i dont want to remove the whole sleeve or the whole body part. I want to crop a small area and delete it.
