JonyPink Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Hi.... I have 412 sims in my game, that's more than twice as much as recommended, and that makes me think..... How does the number of sims affect the fluidity of the game? Why is there a recommended number of 200 sims? I ask this because in my game my sims often are standing idle, doing nothing, even without any mod installed....and I wonder if it's because I have many sims in the game. How many sims do you have in your game? Do your sims often stand idle and do nothing? Greetings.
R-Lo Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Hi Jony! I'm no expert in this matter but it may create some extra traffic on the script side of things when you consider that the game keeps track of all these relationships and throws out invites and message etc through the phone, generating them as NPC's at social events etc, Even though we play one lot at a time, the others are still running to an extent in the background, I'm purely speculating this but 400+ may be too many hun x
Julie J Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 All my extra sims are townies, I have about 20 I've made myself or recreated from my Sims 2 originals Sometimes a lot of mods/high poly meshes/cc can make sims stand around and do nothing.
