Resident Evil : Retribution

In line today at a cinema to finally watch it. Only premiered last 4days ago here in PH.

 

Hope its awesome, been a fan since the first movie, as well as finished every resident evil game franchise that were made.

Ok movie started at 3:15 and ended 5:15 long movie. And I have to spoil you guys there's gonna be a 6.

 

Also the "resident evil retribution" is now the new word for "ACTION" I mean one min people are talking the next second your seeing explosions every where. And man the soundtrack and fight scenes are jaw dropping. Now I know why its box office. Truly worth it to watch.

 

Only downside is "fuck story" and get ready for literally non-stop action.

I am not sure the can be much of a story left for RE movies at this point. Pretty much just killing works fine with me....

The only one I hate was Aferlife. They ruined Albert Wesker for me

On topic : its really worth watching, what's bothering me is how ada is not freezing in snow.

ahhhh if you play the games there is a reason why Ada is not affected by certain things like temperature.

I have never seen a movie franchise twist the original story so stupidly and still make money out of it. After RE2 I lost hope. The CGI seems to lower with every movie. Will probably still see the movie though for Michelle Rodriguez

@rorono: they'll keep making it even if the story is 0% accurate since they are the most successful game movie franchise, and every new RE comes out they earn big bucks.

Played almost all of the RE games myself. From the first one (on the ps1) up to RE5, including the gamecube ones. Oh, anybody stoked for RE6? You can now aim and walk simultaneously! lol

They said it was based around not converted. I think its good the way they made a movie of it. It's still correct.

Yeah, as for story, it's not that kind of movie anyway. That's like asking for a new plot to a James Bond film, when each one is pretty much exactly as the last. There's never any character development for James Bond either, and no one cares because it's not watched for those reasons.

Exactly! That would be like going to a Rambo film, only to find out that it is nothing but my little ponies prancing around.
