Equipping all parts of an Armor Set

Did a lot of googling, can't find any help besides a glitch for armor rating.. Basically I have a set of Armor.. It's the Nieth Priestess set.. Even though this happens with other armor sets. I try to equip all the pieces of it, but when I equip the chest piece, the underwear comes off and vice-versa. I can't seem to have both equipped at the same time. Any help? I'm stumped.

The chest armor uses multiple body slots which will remove those that are assigned the same slot(s). Here is a handy utility to see what slots an armor occupies, presuming you have SkyUI.:

This happens when you have SOS. The only solution that I know of is to change the underwear from slot 52 to a another slot. Commonly used alternative slots are 44 to 49. You would need to change the slot in the meshes and in the .esp file. In the .esp it must be changed in both the Armor and the ArmorAddon forms.

How do I change the slot in the .esp?

You can do it with the Creation Kit, however the easiest method is to load the mod in Tes5edit. Expand the list of the mod's contents and expand the ArmorAddon and Armor categories. The pics here show it. You must right click to edit and click Yes when the warning pops up. Simply close the program when you are done and it will save.

If this is happening because of SOS then all you have to do is set the chest piece to be revealing in SOS to get rid of slot 52 requirement, no need to go into tes5edit...

That doesn't work if you want to give custom outfits to leveled actors based on FoxRace placeholders because SOS considers them male even when they spawn as female. Changing the slots is the best long term solution.
