lastException Error [Solved]

I've been getting the lastException.txt error since I downloaded WW on 3/12. I've gone through it a few times and deleted other mods that seemed to be causing issues, but today I still got it, so this is what it says and hopefully someone can tell me what to do!

Are you using Torture and Chaos or any mod related to the Book of Life? That's causing the Exception.

No, I don’t believe I am. Are there other similar mods that would have the same effect?

The only other mod I know of is Bind the Dead but there may be others, you will have to check your mods. There is an open Bug Report on EA about issues with the book of life but its not throwing out exceptions like your log.

 

Only thing I can suggest is to delete the book of life your sim has and start a new one. It might be just that book that is the problem.

Hm, I've never downloaded anything pertaining to BoL, as I don't really use it much in game, nor has anyone in my current saves tried writing one. I've been checking through mods to see if anything was out of date (a few were, but fixing that didn't solve the issue) hopefully more trial and error will point me in the right direction. Thanks for your help though!

I did some searching and I was wrong about it being the book of life, sorry 

 

From the information I found, it looks like a CC Bookcase is causing the error and not the book. You don't happen to have a CC Bookcase by chance?

I'm determined to help you find the problem without using the 50/50. it's definitely a CC object related to books. This is from the log:

So this is how I see it, your Sim is Autonomously trying to put away a book, this indicates that you have the Put Away Book Fix. There is a CC Object tagged as a book, but your sim can't interact with it. So far it's not a mod or a CC Bookcase, so all that's really left is a CC Object or Decor that has a book(s) in it.

 

As for the Crash Log, I can't help with that. It might be related to this error and will stop once the problem is solved.

I'm really sorry, I think we got our wires crossed. What I meant was CC with a book or books visually in the model, not book in the package file name. When playing your Sims, where ever the Exception occurs, look for CC objects that have a book in the model. Using build mode you can duplicate to find out more about the object, rather than deleting loads of CC.

Ah, I see. I'll go in-game to see if anything comes up.

UPDATE: The only cc book is the skill books that come with icemunmun's canning station. If it's that, would the entire mod be the issue?

I doubt its icemunmun's canning station mod, I checked the comments there just in case and nothing has been reported. It's a long shot, but try deleting the books from the lot in build mode as they are easy to replace.

Looks like GrayCurse's Cooking & Ingredients Overhaul, something about a 'Churn'. Do you have the latest update Feb. 22/Jungle Adventures Patch?

I don't have any of graycurse's mods because it has given me trouble before oddly enough lol. And yes, I also have all of the expansion/game/stuff packs except for my first pet stuff, if that bears any relevance. I'm not sure what the 'churn' thing could be a reference to, though.

Do you have any other Cooking mods other than the Canning Station? If not you might have to try clearing the cache again. It could be some old data from when you had the mod, there's other references I noticed from the mod further into the log 'create_situation_from_seed'.

Was just thinking, could you check your mod folder to see if graycurse's mod was completely removed. Could be one loose file.

Yes, I've been going through my mods and nothing by them/related to it is still there. I lost pretty much all of my cc a couple years ago around the time I deleted it and never reinstalled it, so it wouldn't have transferred to my new laptop

Did you transfer anything to your new laptop, like the tray files or was it a complete restart? If you didn't then I think the Cache clear should be your next move
