Did you transfer anything to your new laptop, like the tray files or was it a complete restart? If you didn't then I think the Cache clear should be your next move

Other than cc, I only transferred my most recent save. I also did the cache clear a couple days ago

Try loading the game again, see if you get an exception, then post any new last exception you get. This log just looks like it throw a fit over stuff being destroyed.

That book of life is back again just like before! Did you save after deleting the books?

Yes I did, now I'm more confused lol

You and me both. I think you could have a corrupt save, do you save over the existing one or create new ones periodically?

I have a couple saves going currently, I usually only delete saves when I'm doing a 50/50 cc check (which never works for me) but i did realize the book of life might have came back because I used a different save this time that still had the books, so i removed them but still got it: https://pastebin.com/k0JL7YYA

Also I was finally able to track down and remove my broken CAS cc, but still got the lastexception again: https://pastebin.com/wRCkWr1w

This has probably been an error since you did the transfer to your new laptop, but without last exception logging active you wouldn't have known till you installed WW. I think the  save is looking for something that wasn't transferred, could be CC, tray files etc. Reverting a corrupt save won't help in this case.

Maybe I'm wrong and someone know's better, except EA and most the Sim community outside of LL, who won't touch this while you have WW installed for obvious reasons LOL

It doesn't crash your game, so you could just ignore it or start over (Not a nice thought)

So if I started a new game, would it still show up if the transferred saves are still there? I'm three generations into a legacy challenge so I'll probably hold off on deleting regardless though

No it won't show up, new game, new save. It's also possible to take sims and lots from an old save using Sims 4 Tray Importer. If you don't plan on doing that, you could just remove the Pick Up Book fix. That should stop the Last exception, but you'll have to pick books up like in the old days LOL

Yeah I actually just installed the tray importer to get rid of broken cas items. I apparently dont have a pick up book fix mod, is it something done through MCCC?

Yeah MCCC has it under , its MCCC > MCCC Settings > Gameplay Settings > Put Away Books Fix

Looks that way, but thats The Sims for you. Here have a tissue  :bawling:

Hopefully you can get things across to a new save without the book of life and any other gremlins lurking in that old save lol
