Asariphile Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Just spent two hours trying to get this software up for making armor in skyrim. Still not working. I was following this guide and got down to the point where I import the body meshes into Blender. I found that I did not have an option to import Netimmerse/Gamebyro(.nif) files and it told me I need to install Nifscripts for blender (thanks for having me read and execute half the tutorial before telling me that btw, I love Nexus) So I follow the link (this one) to the blender installation. I find out that said page is so outdated half the files don't work. I can't get Nifscripts to install with anything. Ive download the version it has said to 5 or 6 times and nifscripts still pops up and tell me that there are version incompatibilities and refuses to install. What am I doing wrong? Or am I using a shitty tutorial?

Unfortunately, the current complete release of nifscripts requires Blender 2.49b and 2.x Python (not 3.x) So grab this http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/40980

I am tired of being just a lurker here, but dont have the time, know-how, or energy to devote to a big project. I have a some experience in CGI and think thats a good place to start.
