SmedleyDButler Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 So, Outfit Studio has this weeeee little idiosyncrasy, in that if you use the move command and hit Enter instead of pressing the 'OK' button, it performs a move that 1) Can't be reversed, 2) throws the object in some entirely different direction, and 3) if you move the mesh you're working on again, it's forever distorted. Okay, no problem - DON'T hit the Enter key, right? Only it's obviously a deep instinct for anyone who normally uses a computer to hit Enter on task completion - in almost any OTHER program the Enter key would sensibly map to the OK button (maybe some of the OS designers post here, if so, I have to ask: Whyyyyyyy? What is the rationale behind this? Because from where I'm sitting it looks like a disastrous failure of UI design, that instead of confirming an action, the Enter key instead corrupts your working mesh!) So is there any way I can actually fix this? Or at least prevent that key from doing anything when using the move tool? There's no menu to reset any OS inputs but maybe there's something else I can do? After wrecking the same helmet five times in a row and wasting over an hour (look, I have a terrible memory, okay?), I'm rather tired of this "idiosyncrasy".
