Character dissapears or freezes after sex without weird CURSED ring.

I have the weirdest thing happening in my game in which after sex via either (Joburg or RaperS but not through invite for money).

 

I was able to locate the culprit by turning the mods off and on one by one.

The culprit is a mod called SuperSP Ring aka superSP_fatigue_restore_ring.esp

I had this ring from before to keep fatigue from dropping too much specifically for Sexdarkness which is now uninstalled but kept the ring on.

This is not a physical ring, but an attachment called ring (or third ring) that gives you the extra 10K fatigue bonus.

 

Here is the strange part.... 

LoversPK, Joburg and RaperS works just fine with this ring on... then I tried taking the ring off to make the fatigue more realistic but when I did the freezes started happening.

My character would either go completely invisible but doing a slight moaning, or it will be on a sort of edit mode with the arms extended also moaning quietly. Game still seemed to be going about and I can float about with the camera. But then when I exit the game, I will notice a game crash dialog. Reload the game, put the ring on, everything works fine.

However, when other NPC's get err.. tackled.. the freeze/invisible thing happens to them, then I have to "resurrect" them which can be a pain in the butt...  Especially with Mythic Dawn sleeper agents.

I would think, it is because they don't have this particular ring.

 

I tried removing the esp for the ring, removing LoversPK, saving, then loading LoversPK without the ring esp but it still happens. Like it needs to have that ring there for some reason.

 

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Have you tested your game without the ring esp but with a new character/start a new game ? Maybe the bug is now in your save. Always  test bug-fixes with a new game !

And i have the superSP ring for "Sexlivion for girls"...you should wear the ring only during Sexlivion Sex!!!!

I didn't think about trying a new game, good idea... I tried removing mod, then saving but that didn't work..

 

trying now.... failure, same thing happens, body goes invisible and unmovable, if I put armor back on it appears but in a sort of edit mode, standing with arms stretched out.

This is definitely the weirdest thing.

Sounds like wrong installed LAPF.

 

I hope you don't use Nexus Modmanager to install Oblivion Mods !! NMM can not install Lovers Mods !

And your bug sounds like Lovers ini or ani problem.

Oblivion Vwalk.esp  ? Does it also affect the player ? ( Do you play a female? )  And the Specialanims.esp is for Player walk aniamtion.

You must have Oblivion +Shivering Isle with Patch_v1.2.0416 ! ! !  See  requirements Lovers-Creature.  In the Mod are Shivering isle creatures !

( And  OBSE, Pluggy, MenuQue installed ?  The Game not in C:programfiles (x86) )

 

Load order of no-Lovers Mods:

Strap-ons.esp  is a clothes Mod, should be up to other clothes.

 

Abriael_Human.esp is a race Mod, down after Lovers.

 

Haruka.esp  ? I don't know

Elvenwatch Manor.esp  A house Mod , up, after clothes Mods.

Yes Vwalk.esp affects the Female playing characters while the xeoexp Vwalk.esp affects NPC females and adds different walks depending on their social status.

I play both Female and Male characters. The freeze happens on either I am playing.

 

No, I do not use the Nexus ModManager, I use the Oblivion Mod Manager and install all my mods manually. It seems cleaner that way and allows me to alter as needed.

I haven't had any issues so far besides this little glitch.

No. Game is in a special "games" folder. Not in Program Files (x86) - I wouldn't think this would be an issue but I guess I can't discount that.

 

Haruka.esp is a light armor so I will move it to the armor/clothing section.

I removed strap-ons.esp as it didn't seem to be needed.

 

I do have the Patch_v1.2.0416 installed but I was waiting to add the Shivering Isles and the Knights of the nine add-on later but I will try adding those also and see if it changes anything.

Maybe I should to the "unofficial patch" also?

 

It is very strange that when I add that Fatigue magic ring everything works flawlessly. I tried it again by activating that mod and putting that ring on and no issues at all.

Have you tested it with a new game/character ? Maybe the bug is already in your save.

 

Testing and find bugs always start a new game ! When the bug is fixed you can try a old save. Then you know when the bug is back it was your save file.

 

unofficial patch : I never used it. I have the meshes and textures from all unofficial patches installed ,but not the esp.

Lovers  works  fine with and without the unofficial patch.

 

But your game should be Oblivion-Shivering isle version 1.2.0416  ( shivering isle is not new esp.   The shivering isle esp is only a dummy to tell the game you have it and it loads the bsa files) The Shivering Isle installation changes the Oblivion esm, all SI data is in the changed Oblivion esm ( the quests, dialogs, cratures, objects,... )

 

All other DLCs are "stand alone" versions  ( real esp , no dummy ) and not needed for Lovers.

I did try with a new game/character and the same thing happened.

I think the bug has been embedded into the game itself.

Could the skeleton have anything to do with it?

Yes version 1.2.0416  ....but Oblivion or Oblivion with Shivering isle.  Install Shivering Isle !!!! (  You must not play it. There is a small isle near Bravil, ignore it . Nothing else is changed in the game )

Don't think it 's the skeleton.  Do you have the right skeleton ?

If you don't have the LAPF skeleton you will have Penis stretching during sex.  Only the LAPF skeleton have penis bones.

 

If you use LAPF ( you must use the LAPF Skeleton)
data\meshes\characters\_male\ skeleton.nif and skeletonbeast.nif must be 95KB

data\meshes\characters\_1stPerson\skeleton.nif  must be 58KB

Went ahead and installed Shivering Isle as well as Knights of the Nine (disk did both at the same time) 

Still crashes... weirdest thing.

 

Not the skeleton.. I have the right ones.

Not the body mesh either.. I tried different ones.

 

So for now I guess I am stuck using that ring which sucks because I don't get the loss of fatigue.

Oh well, it is what it is.

I tried using the debug tool and at the time of freeze I got this message from the debug tool.

 

WARNING!! <player> not in KnockedState, execute reset3Dstate

 

On another instance I get this message:

  Don't know, I only advise.

 

open the console and clicking on the  Player, then enter 'removespell xx03BFD5', where xx is the mod index for 'Lovers with PK.esm'. Sometimes actors can end up with that spell (the 'Having Sex' spell) permanently, which prevents them from having any more sex.

But I am not sure if the player ever get that spell or only NPCs.

 

 

And the item Bug

xLoversPkrEquipFuncItem "Lovers Equipment" [CLOT:01000813]

Maybe you have some of the items, should all removed after sex.

Open console, click on Player, enter

removeItem xx000813 20

xx = Load order of Lovers with PK esm

 

Have you used the But fix in the Lovers setting spell ?

Remove all Bugs  or Fix All or .... I don't know the name, check the menu.

 

Maybe that's all ineffective/useless, I totally don't know what's wrong in your game.

Thank you Fajeena, I will give those things a try and see what happens.

I also noticed that several people had a similar issue when using the latest LAPF v1.6a1 and RaperS Wappy version. The issue was supposed to have been fixed by adding some .kf files which I do seem to have but the symptoms are very similar which happens during a gangrape.

 

I was wondering about installing an older version of LAPF like maybe v1.1 but I can't seem to locate it???

Some added insight into this that you may find interesting Fajeena.

 

I added the "Horserider2" mod you updated.

when I add and quickly remove the "horse harness" it fixes the character.

I am not sure exactly what the harness does but seems to reset the body.

Does this mean anything?

The horse harness adds a specila animation / kf file  and when you remove it the player is reset  That can fix

This can also fix animation bugs of other Mods.

 

You can try other Mods with reset function.

Estrus ( but you must wait until the estrus animation is finish.

SetBody, reset your Body , then select your body again.

Do you have Pose Mods? In the menu is always a Reset button.

And in the LAPF menu is also a "Reset all bugs" button.
