How Do I Hide The Genitilia When Creating Armor

I'm trying my first conversion from the original to the SE version and I've run into two problems. One I think I've figured out but there might be a better way.

After I strip the character and put on the new item, his penis and testicles poke through. Other mods simply hide them or turn them off but I haven't figured out what I'm doing wrong so far. The second issue is his body weight changes between his nude form and his clothed form. I'm using LazyBodyEdit to drop the weight to ten for now but that won't work should I get permission from the original author to port it over.

Right now, it's a training exercise. In the future I'd like to create my own meshes and textures and post them here.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

For regular Skyrim when using SOS (slot 52), adding armor slot 52 to the armor addon should hide penis when worn if it is not 32 type. (I think 32 hide it as well)

(most body armors/clothes for torso that is not an addon uses 32/34/38 for armor addon category ( and only 32 under Armor).

-I dunno if this apply to SE as well since I have not starting to use it yet.

Hmmm, well I tried both 32 and 52 and the penis disappeared along with the rest of his body. I'm looking at other armors for comparison and am about to expand my references. There is something different and I just haven't found it yet.

If anyone else can think of something by all means reply. In the meantime I'm about to load a few other armors in SSEEdit to look at and compare with what I have in CK. If I find a solution I'll post it for everyone's benefit.

Maybe this can help:

Slot 32 hides the torso (armor is shown and torso hidden) and sos is set up to hide the schlong if the item that is worn have slot 32, if I am not mistaken.

52 hides only schlong, so if u wear an item, like a skirt that is slot 44, then the schlong will be seen, adding slot 52 to it as well will hide the schlong.

-In Outfitstudio (and other programs), u can choose what slot an armor uses in the mesh,

and it need to be the same as in SSEdit, (or TESVEdit in my case) or it will not work in game.

(but u can add more slots, like adding slot 52 to an armor  ("armor addon") in SSEdit without adding it to the mesh in OutfitStudio and it will hide that when worn.)

-Standard slots for "armor addons" are 32/34/38 for armors, 33 or 33/34 for gauntlets 37 or 37/38 for boots.

-For "Armor" category its 32 - 33 - 37, not all the ones in "armor addon" category.

(so adding those to an armor hides those body parts and replacing it with worn armor)

-52 is normally used for panties.

Some penis mods don't have slot 52 support. I the these cases you can add a penis-less body to the armour so it replaces the entire body.

That's what I'm thinking is happening. I can't find a single example of waist down armor only that does not have a body attached. The armor has slot 52 used only.  I tried 32 and of course it replaced the torso with nothing but the armor; an invisible chest. Yet this very armor or clothing (it's hard to tell since it's marked as clothing but has a 10.000 rating) was used in the classic Skyrim although I don't have that so I can't be certain it worked.

I've just begun to figure that out, although sketchy through trial and error, what you mentioned. You have provided me with some new information and using OutfitStudio which I haven't tried since I only thought that worked for women's bodies.

I'm using SOS Light for SE if this helps any. It could be why I can't get it to cooperate with me. I may uninstall it and just leave dead eunichs (and my character too being schlongless) and see how that works.

Yeah, SOS Light doesn't have slot 52 support. So if you want something like male underwear you'll have to add a body to the underwear mesh. It's not hard. Just a little work in Outfit Studio, which will be your best friend if you want to start making your own armours.

So I am learning. It's late and I meant to be asleep over an hour ago. I'll open it up in Outfit Studio tomorrow and see what I can do. Besides, the body shape keeps changing going from clothed to nude or at least removing anything on the torso.

Going to get some sleep.
