Naked Ekans Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 In the past days, I'm getting complete freezes, forcing me to hard reset my machine, usually a few moments after running apps through MO, (NifSkope, BodySlide) or when in game (Oldrim). Is there any reports of incompatibilities of MO with W10's latest update? Is anybody else having these freezes? System Info: Processor: i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.9GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM GPU: GeForce GTX 970 - Driver 390.77 Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 16299) (16299.rs3_release.170928-1534) I know this is a bit vague, but I'm curious if anybody else is having this problem.
Sladen2019 Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 People were experiencing freezing after doing a recent bios update that was supposed to help against Spectre. There is also a newer NVidia driver update available that came out about 4-5 days ago.
Naked Ekans Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Since nobody reported to be having this issue, the problem must be in my end... PSA to MO users: Backup your mod order and load order in MO often. Yesterday I got one of those freezes after leaving the game, while MO was updating the modorder.txt, plugins.txt files. Result: All my profiles lost their mod orders (not sure why all of them) and I had no backup to restore it. I hate my life.
