EtsuSenpaii Posted February 25, 2018 Author Posted February 25, 2018 Sorry for the late reply, I don't think I'd know entirely what happen or if I had done an update I'm just looking into the links by tooka! Thanks for the fast responses though!

Thanks for sending me the links I checked them out but the easy fix doesn't seem to work for my operating system and I afraid I'm a little to dunce to figure out what to do next.

I was hoping that would work. You could try the posts tab on the LOOT page for SSE on Nexus - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1918?tab=posts.
Grey Cloud Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 The place to go is the LOOT website forum. The problem has nothing to do with Skyrim, it is a Windows security certificate issue affecting Win 7. The is a MS knowledge base article (kb3140245) hotfix in addition to the easyfix mentioned above. See page 12 on the LOOT forum for the problem and page 11 for links to the solution. Reboot required after applying the fix.

I've looked but regarding the fix it still won't work for my OS I'm running windows 8 and so the easy fix won't work I did update to VS, as suggested but still no results. From what the forums say it's just OS win 7 issue not much on win 8. Correct me if I'm wrong though! I'm a bit of an idiot when it comes with computers etc. Also thanks for trying to help!
Grey Cloud Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Sorry, I wrote that post very late at night. I still suggest posting your problem on the LOOT forum. Tell them which OS you are using.
