oldrayzor Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 What is the clothing mod? Where is it clipping? Does it have a baseshape figure? Is the figure the same as your preset (UNP or CBBE)?
johntrine Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 clothing mods- a lots of them (like aradia latex) clippings is at- mostly breasts baseshape figure...? you mean bodyslide? yes... all are same (cbbe)
oldrayzor Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 Well. I don't often use Bodyslide the way it should be used so perhaps someone else can answer better. If you are using a CBBE HDT body with an CBBE-HDT outfit, I usually just load the refenece body and grab the nif file of the outfit, set as base, conform, transfer weights and save as project. If you are interested in that technique then here's a step-by-step: Spoiler 1) Select File/Load Reference... 2) Select CBBE HDT from the pull-down menu and click okay. That will load the CBBE HDT body and its presets. 3) Open the folder for your outfit. There you will find a sub-folder called "Shape Data". Inside there maybe additional sub-directories depending on whether the mod contains multiple outfits. Anyway, inside the specific outfit's sub-directoy you may find loads of other files, but what you want is the ".nif" file. 4) Drag and drop the nif file into Outfit Studio. If it has a "body" contained with it , just delete that body (not the "reference" body). 5) If the outfit doesn't fit the body (i.e. shows through in places) then use the expand or contract tool to "fit" it to the reference body. If you don't know how to do that you'll need to look at any of the many fundamental Outfit Studio tutorials on youtube. 6) Double-check that your CBBE body is set as reference (In the newer version of OS it appears in bold green). If not then right click the body name (whatever it's called) and select "Set as reference" 7) Once you have the outfit fitted to the reference body, click on and select the outfit. Make sure it is highlighted in the box on the right. 8) Now you want to copy the weights. NOTE: If the outfit is form-hugging it is far easier than if you have a long skirt or clothing that extrudes from the body. 9) If it is the former, a form-hugging outfit, then simply select from the Shape Menu "Copy Bone Weights". It will present a dialog with dials, you need only click OK. If it is not form-hugging than the weight copying is more complex and will require additional info. Let me know. First try this to see if you like it. 10) Select from Shape Menu "Set as base" 11) Select from Shape Menu "Conform selected" 12) At this point dialing up any setting in the presets should cause the outfit to expand or contract depending on the setting. 13) Save as project. 14) Close OS 15) You should now see the outfit in the top dropdown menu of Bodyslide itself. Go ahead and build your outfit.
