ADD panties to armor- Help

So, I'm trying to add panties to the main bodice and magic school bodices from the Misfit Mage mod.

I added the mesh to it and changed the partition in outfit studio, but it still does not appear in game.

Is it possible to add something like this to an existing armor? If so, what am I doing wrong?

A couple possible reasons it isn't working:

1) You gave it a body partition other than 32, and didn't modify the armor (ARMO/ARMA) to match the new partition.

2) Something is overwriting the nif for the armor

3) You used an alpha property on the panties that isn't set up quite right and it is simply fully transparent in game.

 

I'm betting it is one or a combination of those.
