Madix-3 Posted January 20, 2018 Author Posted January 20, 2018 That didn't help, but thank you very much. The problem started, I think, when I installed SLAL, Defeat and MYSLALPACK. Disabling any of them does nothing, though.

You can't just install new and complex mods mid playthrough and hope to just continue a save. Evan if it loads is a bad idea.
Madix-3 Posted January 20, 2018 Author Posted January 20, 2018 No, you misapprehend me, I started a new game, saved that, and couldn't load it any more. Even if I start a game, immediately save and then try to load, I get a ctd. Edit: I tried to let all the mods install first, of course.

If the mod Newbie2015 doesn't work you may have bigger problems you should check your load order. But first start a new game again and save in a small room with nobody there, see if it loads.

Edit: I tried to let all the mods install first, of course. do you have Crash Fixes installed (https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2551-crash-fixes/)??? You may have hit Skyrim's default string limit otherwise. Crash Fixes lets you get past this but any savegames made before installing it will not work.
