(Even though it said it was superceded by the above I find having both as dramatically stopped CTD's on loading saves when having shed loads of animations)

(Also you need Crash Fixes if you arn't already using it).

I just wanted to add the author's note in the description of Load Game CTD Fix:

Quote

I had automated this process in Continue Game No Crash which I published a while back but it wasn't perfect as it required the use of an ESP which wasted a slot in your load order, the initial double loading took longer, and a few people perceived it as a harmful mod that would bake bad data into your save game [...] Admittedly at the time I didn't fully understand why Skyrim was crashing and just automated a trick that other people used to load save games that otherwise wouldn't load. I have now figured out the cause of the problem and come up with a much better fix.

While the previous mod isn't harmful at all, there's no point in having both enabled in your game. If you still get a crash with only one, it most likely won't be there the second time you open it up. The newer one is an SKSE plugin which can be installed or removed at any point in your playthrough without your saves becoming dependent on it.

I was using 'crash fix' originally. And I tried to use the two mods you mentioned, and it was the same ctd. So now I'm looking at those options as a problem, it's too difficult. If I can not fix it to ini, I think I'll ask the same question again.
